The star system located 1,300 light-years away, called GW Orionis, has a pair of stars locked in together with a third star looping both of them. ā Our Solar System has one flat disk that has all the planets. In the case of GW Orionis, the disk consists of 3 loops, with a warped middle ring and an inner ring even more twisted than the other two. ā The bizarre geometry of the system is the first known of its kind and is recently discovered. āļøšSPACE NEWSš°āØ The Moon is Rusting! Blue areas in this image from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3) aboard the Chandrayaan-1 orbiter show Lunar water at the Moonās poles. The rest of the image shows rocks where researchers have found signs of a form of rust called hematite. The mineral is a form of iron oxide, which is only produced when iron is exposed to water and oxygen. FOODS TO KEEP ON HAND IN AN EMERGENCY DRIED BEANS Kidney beans, black beans, garbanzo beans, lima beans, pinto beans, and others are all high in calories, contain a fair amount of protein per serving, and also several essential vitamins and minerals. Dried beans come in packages larger than canned beans but for the amount you get weigh quite a bit less. The key difference is that you have to add water and let most beans soak for several hours before eating. Split peas, for example, have a much shorter soak time. Split peas are part of the dried bean family with many of the same vitamins and minerals. Finally, dried beans have a long shelf life. When it comes to understanding the Universe, scientists have traditionally taken two approaches in tandem with one another. On the one hand, we perform experiments and make measurements and observations of what the results are; we obtain a suite of data. On the other hand, we construct theories and models to describe reality, where the predictions of those theories are only as good as the measurements and observations they match up with. For centuries, theorists would tease novel predictions out of their models, ideas and frameworks, while experimentalists would probe uncharted waters, looking to validate or refute the leading theories of the day. With the advent of quantum physics, however, all of that began to change. Instead of specific answers, only probabilistic outcomes could be predicted. How we interpret this has been the subject of a debate thats lasted nearly a century. But having this debate at all may be a fools errand; perhaps the very idea that we need an interpretation is itself the problem. Bailys Beads - Annular Eclipse of 26 December 2019 Bailys Beads in an Annular Solar Eclipse have some differences as compared to those in a Total Solar Eclipse. 1. In an Annular Eclipse the Moon is smaller than the Sun. As the Moon is moving over the Sun, the Sun gets covered but the rim remains visible, as the Moon moves towards the centre of the Sun, the pointed horns of the solar rim converge and meet together. This happens towards the western direction of the Sun. Bailys Beads form on the western edge of the Sun on the second contact in an Annular Eclipse. (In a Total Solar Eclipse the Bailys Beads occur towards the eastern edge of the Sun on second contact) A reverse phenomena occurs on the third contact, Bailys Beads form on the eastern edge of the Sun, quite unlike what occurs in a Total Solar Eclipse. 2. In a Total Solar Eclipse, on the second contact the lunar mountain peaks cut the thin solar crescent first and form the Bailys Beads. In an Annular Solar Eclipse it is slightly different, the valleys clear the solar rim first and form the beads. 3. Astrophotographers shooting a Total Solar Eclipse have removed their solar filters by the time beads appear, and consequently the beads are bright and sparkling in the images, while in an annular astrophotographers mostly never remove the filter and beads are subdued and gentle in the images. In the Annular Eclipse just gone by (on 26 December) I was at the centreline of the eclipse and bead formation was quick. At the time of second and third contact I was shooting images at an interval of 1 second. On analysis of the images I found that the beads formation was longer at the third contact. An approximate duration of beads at second contact - 20 seconds, and an approximate duration of beads at third contact - 30 seconds. In this accompanying image of a sequence of beads (second contact on top and third contact at the bottom), you can get a feel of the mountains on the edge of the moon, much exaggerated, due to the placement of the subsequent clicked images next to each other. - @night_sky_photos on Instagram

š The Eye of God I just finished watching the Fullmetal Alchemist series and I loved it! Itās the second anime Iāve watched and I loved everything about it, the adventure, the character growth, and all the friendships that were made. Whenever I watch anything in another language I like keeping the original audio and just adding english subtitles. I actually fall asleep instantly when watching TV so the funniest thing was that I would doze off and I would swear that I understood what was happening in the anime as I nodded away but no way that was impossible because it was all in Japanese! One of the entities in the anime is the Eye of God and whenever the characters came across the eye it forced the truth into their minds and was the answer to everything. And thatās totally how eyes are in real life too. Our eyes show us the world and we can learn so much about how our patientās navigate their world through their vision and through dilated eye exams we learn about peopleās overall body health too. Eyes are simply the truth. I really enjoyed Fullmetal and some of you know that I love Attack on Titan and I canāt wait for season 4.
