- Today we were given the harsh task of putting our girl ruby down. Because of how tough dogs are she didn’t show any serious symptoms until she started coughing up blood. When we got to the vet she got an x-ray and we found out she had a countless number of small tumours in her lungs.

I can’t believe my guy, Kai, turned 2.5 yesterday😨😅 Where has time gone?! . I know it’s only his 1/2 bday, but I thought we’d have some fun and do a mini celebration with him. I warmed up one of those little premade chocolate lava cakes from Costco (if you haven’t tried them yet, put them to your list!), and added a candle for him to blow out. (See the moment in my stories) It made our 100th something meal together in quarantine more entertaining and for all of us.🤷🏻♀️🥳 . I love this silly monkey so much. At 2.5, he talks non-stop, loves all things Disney, will do anything for chocolate, enjoys riding his balance bike and scooter, and has some serious dance moves. He knows all of his colors, can count to five with his fingers, and thinks he is hilarious when he toots on command😳...not sure if I should be worried about that “skill”?😆 .
