Duterte’s lockdown to blame for spike in violence against women -- GABRIELA Women’s organization GABRIELA is gravely concerned over the intensifying abuses and gender-based violence against women and children under the militarist lockdown imposed by the Duterte government amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Such violation exacerbates the already dire situation of uncertainty, economic difficulties, and rights curtailment that women and their families are made to endure during this crisis. With 3,700 cases of violence against women and children reported to government agencies in the course of the two-month enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), Duterte’s lockdown proves to be a bane to women. The militarized lockdown has increased women’s vulnerability to abuse and it has systematically denied women’s access to protection and redress against a general situation of hunger, poverty, and lack of social protection especially among poor women. But despite the alarming number of reported cases, GABRIELA suspects that the reports are still conservative. As in situations even before the pandemic, many victims are unable to report for fear of reprisal or lack of access to channels of reporting and redress. Alarmingly, the lockdown has all the more restricted women’s mobility and access to justice. Many victims may still be trapped with their abusers, given imposition of curfews and restrictions on people’s mobility, closure of barangay-level VAW desks due to redirection of personnel for COVID19 response, and a more alarming situation of police violence and abuse of authority in checkpoints, streets and other public spaces during the lockdown. As case in point, GABRIELA has received for counseling 140 cases that of violence against women and children through phone and online reporting from March 15 to June 10. Dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan 2020, tetap mengutamakan keselamatan jiwa dengan mematuhi kebijakan dan peraturan pemerintah terkait penanganan, pencegahan, serta protokol kesehatan Covid-19. b. Penyelenggara pemilihan, peserta pemilihan, pemilih, dan seluruh pihak yang terkait para setiap tahapan wajib menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 dengan memakai masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak, dan menghindari kerumunan. c. Pengerahan massa pada setiap tahapan pemilihan tidak melebihi batasan jumlah massa yang telah ditetapkan oleh penyelenggara pemilihan. d. Setelah selesai melaksanakan setiap kegiatan tahapan, semua pihak yang terlibat dan masyarakat agar segera membubarkan diri dengan tertib tanpa arak-arakan, konvoi, atau sejenisnya. 3. YO ELIJO RECICLAR ♻️ En Chile 🇨🇱 se generan más de 8,1 millones de toneladas de residuos domiciliarios, sin embargo se recicla un poco más del 4% 😨. En promedio los Chilenos y Chilenas generamos cerca de 1,3 kilos de residuos por día 🗑, cifra que se puede disminuir considerablemente si actuamos de manera circular y comenzamos a gestionar nuestros residuos ♻️🌎💥. The UNESCO MAB youth forum finished with some outstanding outcomes from youth delegates around the world, showing how much the youngsters have concern for nature and how all of them want to live in harmony with nature. The participants energies were incredible, everyday they travelled on bicycle up to 5 kms to a MAB youth village to reduce power consumption and promote living in harmony with nature. Así que con esta respuesta esperamos resolver todas vuestras dudas al respecto y que por supuesto lo tengáis bien afianzado 😛 En este caso a pesar que ha habido muchas respuestas y muy detalladas, la que más nos ha gustado es la de @be.spartan_coach . ¡Enhorabuena! ⠀ ➡ Antes de nada hay que mencionar que la pregunta va enfocada a utilizar el ayuno intermitente para la pérdida de peso pero esto no significa que solo se puede hacer ayuno con el objetivo de pérdida de peso; es más, puedes hacer ayuno perfectamente que si no estás en déficit calórico, no vas a bajar. ⠀ 🔸 Dicho esto, como bien dice nuestro ganador, ningún protocolo (ni el propio ayuno intermitente) va a provocar efecto rebote si se ajusta bien al plan nutricional y se adapta para que ciertas hormonas (como la grelina. leptina, la propia tiroides, etc) no hagan entrar al cuerpo en modo ahorro, reduciendo considerablemente el gasto calórico (uno de los motivos que puede provocar el efecto rebote cuando se vuelve a una alimentación normocalórica). ⠀ ✅ También comenta que estrategias como el refeed o el diet break por ejemplo, reducen este impacto hormonal y con ello el efecto rebote. ⠀ Una vez más, todo debe estar adaptado a cada persona, contexto y objetivo. Im Rahmen einer Feierstunde hat Oberbürgermeister Daniel Schranz der Oberhausenerin Aynur Celikdöven für ihr herausragendes soziales und ehrenamtliches Engagement das Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande überreicht. Aynur Celikdöven arbeitet als Facharbeiterin in der Metallindustrie, ist verheiratet und hatte zwei Kinder. Ihre Tochter erkrankte Mitte der 1980er Jahre an Leukämie, konnte aber dank einer Knochenmarkstransplantation geheilt werden. Ihr Sohn erkrankte ebenfalls an Krebs und verstarb 1999 im Alter von sieben Jahren. Daraufhin gründete sie im Jahr 2001 in Oberhausen den Verein ,,Weg der Hoffnung e.V.“ für krebskranke Kinder und deren Angehörige, die beraten, aufgeklärt und vor allem gestärkt werden sollten. Die 54-Jährige unterstützt Familien, die oft aus der Türkei kommen, auch in Bezug auf Sprachschwierigkeiten und pflegt stets einen engen Kontakt zu den Betroffenen. 2003 gründete sie außerdem in einer Kleingartenanalage in Sterkrade den Treffpunkt ,,Engelsgarten“ für betroffene Familien und deren Kinder, die sich in der Krebsnachsorge befinden. Neben ihrer beratenden Tätigkeit organisiert Aynur Celikdöven jährliche Aktionsabende für Knochenmark- und Stammzellenspenden. Bereits im Jahr 2017 wurde sie für ihr ehrenamtliches Engagement mit der Ehrennadel der Stadt Oberhausen ausgezeichnet. „Für mich ist es eine große Freude, Sie hier begrüßen zu dürfen. Pazitos’ Education Program is an initiative that provides resources and opportunities for youth in rural areas of El Salvador to develop, learn, and grow.  Pazitos is committed to empowering youth and women in El Salvador. We know the impact education has on people’s livelihood, health, and overall well being, yet too often women and individuals from low-income and rural areas are excluded. Pazitos, with your support, wants to change this. We are starting off with our Reading Club, an initiative to open the world of reading and books to children and youth. We will be partnering with the local school in El Achiotal to work on projects to improve the school for all their students. In the near future, we will develop a Pazitos Scholarship Program to provide youth with the financial support to continue their studies! We cannot do any of this without the support of all of you! The ultimate goal is to ensure the protection of people and the environment across the entire value chain – from the cotton field to the clothes hanger. Exactly one year ago, Federal Development Minister Gerd Müller and 27 pioneering companies introduced the textile standard @gruenerknopf / Green Button. So, what are the results of the first year? In the meantime, 52 companies have joined in, including sustainability pioneers, sports labels, family businesses and medium-sized companies, as well as large international retailers. According to the market research institute gfk, around a third of all Germans already know the certification mark.
