On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Franklin and Daria Chip Gaillard were both at work in different parts of the Pentagon. Theyd agreed that if there ever was an emergency, theyd meet in the parking lot. When a plane was crashed into the building, and cell phones failed, she wrote this note to her husband and left it on their car. He found the note. After they reunited, the Gaillards helped move children at the Pentagon daycare center to safety.
