Skin, skin, skin. I’ve been getting asked a lot recently “do you do airbrush makeup?” This question kind of comes in waves for me. Short answer, I don’t do airbrush makeup anymore, I did when I first started my business a few years ago. However, once I developed my style and brand, I realized it wasn’t for me; it didn’t give enough of a “lifelike” finish (in my opinion). So, all the photos within my current portfolio and recent photos shared are all looks created using traditional foundation! 😊 I don’t take cell phone pictures often, and when I do, I usually don’t share them. I like to leave the photo taking up to the pros! This picture though really captures what I love and is a good example of why I love traditional foundations; healthy, lifelike skin with naturally enhanced features. Loving that skin is back in... When I started doing makeup in 2004, the trend was for skin to be flawless. That meant even freckles were considered blemishes and should be covered. I used to show up to MAC wearing slightly sheer foundation, letting my freckles show and get told to go put on full coverage before I started my shift... How crazy is that?!
