Its always nice to have windows already tinted at a location where you are filming the interviews so that the exposure outside is easier to match with the person youre lighting. You can also buy rolls of ND gels to tint the windows to turn down the exposure coming from outside, which is very useful when your key light isnt as strong. I had the @nanlite_global Forza 500 + Aputure Light Dome II here as key on camera right, plus a little bit of bounce from a white board we found at the office to fill in her face on camera left. I had the Sony A7III + Sony 24-105mm f/4 on the Miller Compass 20 Fluid Head. I was filming at 50mm f/4 to add a bit more bokeh to the background (the longer the focal length, the more bokeh you get at the same aperture). For audio I used the @sennheiser AVX wireless mic and for monitoring I used the @feelworld_monitor LUT7S 7 Monitor. @nanliteusa - @iamtamlam on Instagram

Slide 2, 3, 4 tahun 2014: ‘Cannabis Friends’ adalah judul proyek awal yang digunakan sewaktu kami (PAPs) diundang pameran oleh Biasa Art Space di Bali untuk berpameran bersama dengan tema Portable. Saat itu kami mempunyai inisiatif untuk mengumpulkan dan menyatukan daun-daun (selain daun ganja) yang kami dapat dari dalam dan luar penjara untuk menyatakan sebuah konsep ‘kesetaraan daun’ melalui sebuah buku herbarium. Konsep tersebut terjadi atas dasar kesamaan kasus hukum yang pernah kami alami yaitu kasus penggunaan ganja. . Slide 5, 6 tahun 2015: ArtJog ‘Infinity in Flux’, kami membuat sebuah laboratorium yang kami namakan Prison Art Lab. Yaitu sebuah proses seni interaktif yang kami lakukan bersama para penonton dengan menggunakan daun sebagai mediumnya. . Slide 7, 8 tahun 2016: Kami melakukan performance instalasi pada salah satu tembok di jalan Parangtritis dan dipancarkan secara langsung-live streaming antara Jogja, Indonesia dan Zurich, Switzerland. My people... ❤️ These days “we expect women to work like they don’t have children, and raise children as if they don’t work”. I have been so blessed to have a hard working husband who provides well. I am blessed because working is a choice for me. @makeup.bychantel helps with the extras, it paid for my four year degree when I decided to go back to college, it allows me to feel independent, and to serve others in various capacities. I like to think that it keeps me well-rounded and make life more interesting 😜. Really though, Its my artistic outlet, my job, and my hobby. And there are A LOT of helpers in the background who help this dream of mine possible. Makeup gives me a life outside of motherhood, and I pride myself on being a professional, but when it comes down to it, I will always be a wife and mom first... And I feel that is important to say here. To the moms who want their makeup done, but put everyone else first, to the moms who choose to treat themselves, to the moms who show up with kids in tow, or the mom stressed after rushing to drop-off kids, or after getting everyone else ready first... I see you, I feel you, we are the same and there is no shame. My family is my world, and I consider myself blessed to rub shoulders with so many boss-babes and working-moms who believe the same, who hustle to kick the stigma that you have to choose between being a good mom and being a good worker. Sometimes it’s hard to feel this truth. There are to many to tag, but I look up to so many women who have set a high bar and example for yes, juggling work and mom-life, but mostly for their examples of putting family first. ❤️ For there is truly no work more noble. After I wrote Love Letter 2 years ago, I was so afraid of what other people were going to think of my music; I was scared people werent going to like it because it wasnt like what everyone else was creating at the time. After listening to it on repeat 20 million times, I realized I should not be comparing myself to others. After releasing this song & getting positive feedback from people telling me how this song changed their lives, I finally realized how important it is to not sound like other people and that its okay. Love Letter reminded then and is reminding me now to continue to give love to myself. This song is doing what it is supposed to do; enlighten and inspire. Ever since Adeline was a little baby we knew she had a huge calling on her life. The enemy fought so hard for her life even before she was born. I was in my 3rd semester of nursing school when I found out I was pregnant with her. Doctors told me abortion was probably best because I had been on a face medication. I even had someone that I considered to be a mentor tell me that she’d drive me to get it done and no one would ever have to know. After she was born we faced some challenges with the hole in her heart. She has such a joy about her, it’s unexplainable. I am humbled and often brought to tears when I think about how sweet and tender our father is. He took our ugly mess and gave us something beautiful in return. When was the last time you showed your creative self compassion?✨ ⠀⠀ Can you allow yourself to think about being kind to yourself?⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Do you ever show compassion to your creative self? ⠀⠀ I remember when I first asked myself these questions I realised that I really hadn’t at all. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I hadn’t been kind to myself in times of creative darkness. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I hadn’t really ever shown myself any compassion when I had “creatively failed”. ⠀ ⠀⠀ I only ever thought about how I wasn’t good enough, and beat myself up when I had ‘stuffed’ something up.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ What if I told you neuroscientists have established that the same part of the brain that drives your creativity is activated when we think or act compassionately? ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Surprised? Don’t worry, so was I!⠀🙋🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀⠀ When I read this, I was completely staggered. I empathise and feel compassion for other people, I use my brain to convert that empathy into compassion, the same way we can think laterally as a creative, in making connections. Much of what I have experienced has inspired me, directly and indirectly. Back when I did the Secret Shows, I felt a great sense of pride in helping to build a community, however small or fleeting it may have been.⁠ ⁠ Simultaneously, I have seen many suffer for so many different reasons, some within that community. Institutional racism, wildfires. transphobia, etc. It feels extra prescient to many of us who may have been blind to it before due to privileges we may or may not have accounted for.⁠ ⁠ This Project is my way of making some kind of difference for both.
