Let’s be clear. I’d say 3 out of 4 days I am experiencing moderate to severe physical discomfort. Yes, I am tough as hell and extremely active and push myself to grow and be well in many ways. But that means I feel “normal” (without weird symptoms of bloating, distention, aches, stabby taser pain, dull throbby pain) maybe one week of the month. Three months of the year. You get the idea. I am highly functioning, and also highly skilled at hiding my experience, like many are.
