Towards the end of September I was involved in a car accident, hit from behind; totaling my car. I had to take off almost a month off of work, physical therapy, x-rays, and I was unable to walk without limping. During this time I began lose myself...beginning to wonder WHY this happened to me. But God is intentional. I’m blessed to get the car of my dreams, passed all my health tests, and have been cleared to go back to work. I had to learn how to trust God MORE, giving him the things I could not control and understand that he STILL has a plan for me. I am super grateful for my job, my friends and my family that have supported me on this chapter of my journey; REAL is hard to come by. I’ve been debating in my head whether or not to share this for a while. However, seeing how this world has become, and seeing more and more people live their lives in fear in each moment has made me realize maybe sharing this experience could help others see life in a new perspective. Just a little while ago, I was hit by an 18 wheeler going way above the speed limit. It was only by the shear grace of God that I was able to walk away from this accident with hardly anything but a scratch. Each moment I continue to be alive I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this precious gift we call life, and at the same time I have lost all fear of the possibility of death. For some reason we may not know why but you are living this life of yours. . 6 years ago today, I was hit by a young girl driving what basically was a tank, who got distracted while she was texting on her phone and came into my lane. She hit me only going 45 miles but pushed my car through 2 lanes of traffic and ended up in the front yard of a sweet old lady! My head hit the drivers side window so hard it knocked me out so I do not remember most of what happened after but I do remember the fireman who was standing at the door trying to get me outta the car. When I came to, he said “wake up honey, you have a lot of livin to do in this world!” From that day to this day I am moving in this world with the knowledge that there is so much more for me to accomplish in this world. When you come to the realization that not every day is promised and you could be living your last, life looks different. Thank you to that fireman who made me wake up to my life. 2/20/20 A few weeks prior I was doing donuts which resulted in something messed up in my power steering. Therefore I did not have ESP or ABS On February 9th, 2020 mysclass decided it wanted go to take a nap. I was driving down Angels Crest with around 20 other Mercedes from this era. About 30miles up in 30 degree weather I entered a corner braking and all four of my wheels locked up I had no control over the vehicle luckily slowed down to about 10-15 mph before hitting the cliff going up about 6 feet then I rolled on the side then it landed on the roof. Myself and @justa_43 were in the vehicle and walked out immediately unharmed without a mark on our body. I can not thank @ryanleap.s and @brittneyleap.s enough for going out of their way to give us a ride home 124 miles. I had put 20k miles on my S430 in the span of 8 months. It is what it is.
