- You can adopt puppies from shelters and breed-specific rescues exist; you can rescue and still get the exact dog you want. Heres my shelter puppy! Shes a lab mix, but the mill she came from was selling her as a pure black lab for $1100. Her adoption fee was $475 and included her shots and spay.

ADOPTED! Tulli is a handsome European fawn Great Dane. His original owner gave him to a couple who mistreated him, because he is now a bit timid, especially of women. When Tulli got sick, this couple took him to the shelter. They said he stopped eating and had diarrhea and they could not afford to take him to the vet, so they decided to take him to the shelter. When at the shelter, Tulli got dewormed and put he was put on medication for upset stomach (metronidazole) and after a few days he started eating. Tulli got all his vaccinations and he was microchpped. Once he gained some weight, we got him neutered. Tulli is a sweet very laid back dog. He gets along with other dogs and ignores cats. Great around kids. Very calm and well behaved. Since previous family did not work with him much, he does not know any commands. He is fully house broken, crate trained and he also learned to use the doggie door. He does have some separation anxieety, so its best to have him in a home with another dog(s). If you are interested in giving Tulli a good loving home, please go to our website and fill out the adoption application.
