Shoe: Saucony x Lapstone & Hammer Courageous Moc Two Rivers Release Date: 29.05.20 RRP: £159.95 Sizing: TTS Fiend: @justdorunners . The background to this collaboration is summed up pretty well by the inscription inside the lid of the box. . In 1898 Saucony began its operations in Pennsylvania, along the banks of the Saucony river, just 75 miles away from where Lapstone and Hammer was founded in Philadelphia. The Native American word Saconk from which Saucony is derived translates to where two rivers run together. This collaboration coined Two Rivers connects Lapstone and Saucony together to form a more dynamic force. . The shoes main feature a Moccasin style toe box, hand stitched using a whip stitch, and staying true to the Moc vibe, it comes with a leather lace and a lace lock. . Moving to the lateral side you have a grey long haired suede, that gives a lovely contrast to the black suede toe box, with the Saucony logo embroidered in gold and purple on the side panels. . Towards the back you have a Purple Heel clip that wraps nicely around the heel giving a nice pop of colour. On the heel of the shoe itself you have a brown leather strip followed by an embroidered purple strip that ties in with the colour of the heel clip and the Saucony logo on the side panels. . The top part of the heel running into the sock liner is made from a high quality Horween leather which also covers the outer edge of the tongue. The inside of the tongue is covered in a heavier Sherpa material giving the shoe a more Autumn/Winter vibe. . On the midsole you have a thick cork insert the runs about half way down the sole to the heel of the shoe. . I always love a gum outsole on a shoe and this one has a Ripple Tooth affect, finishing the shoe really nicely. . What attracted me to this shoe is the quality choice of materials used. Its something a little bit different, the mix of suedes, Horween leathers and the overall execution is outstanding. The concept and the freedom given to the designers to completely re-make this model, with its Mocassain toebox, embroidered heel panel and cork insert in the midsole, make this an outstanding collaboration. . #sneakerfiendclub - @sneakerfiendclub on Instagram

Y’all you might remember when my family and I went to Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa. This was a trip that I was really looking forward to because it is an ideal road trip getaway from the Houston area. I had seen this resort many times driving to and from Austin and we’ve never been before so getting to go this time was incredible. We did go during the pandemic and trust me they took many precautions to instill the safety and health of each guest! If you’re from Texas and have not been you must check out this amazing resort, and if you’re not from Texas you still need to visit! The lazy river is amazing, complimentary bike rentals are available, the golf course is beautiful, the spa is amazing, and the restaurants are phenomenal. There is so much to do at the resort that you won’t want to leave. I am so excited to partner with Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa to give away a true Texas vacation.
