After my reel yesterday on where to start I got multiple questions about quality filtered water. Unfortunately drinking water is pretty toxic and can contribute to a lot of health issues. Clean mineral rich water is one first step we can all take to do something good for ourselves.💪🏽 .. The truth is that there are a lot of contaminants in our water and many people are unaware of just how much. We think that water gets cleaned and filtered. Or that the government must surely make sure that our water is safe to drink. But you can actually still find a lot of things in water like pharmaceutical or hormones. Think of all of the people that are on prescription medications (including hormones like BCPs) and peeing those things in water. But the EPA does not test for drugs in our water supply.💦💦 .. You can also find herbicides, pesticides, bacteria and heavy metals. They will even add chemicals to the water as part of processing. Yes our water does get tested but they also allow many of these toxins to be present as long as they don’t go over the allowed amounts. But it is often the low dose long term exposure to these substances that cause the biggest problem. 🚰🚰 .. I don’t know about you but I would rather not drink any of these things no matter the amount. So I got myself a good water filter. They are many different types available and most of them will not filter out all the things so do some research to find one that works for you.
