Today I get to launch a little project I’ve been working on with @rachelelizabethdueck. @changeisgoodyyc is an online thrift store with 100% of profit being donated to @yycdreamcentre, the addiction recovery centre where both Rachel and I currently work. I never would’ve pictured myself working in addiction services, but everyday I am blown away by the way our clients pursue transformation in their lives. It is a serious honour to walk alongside them. Change Is Good is a small way to support the work that is being done at The Dream Centre that combines two of my favourite things (social enterprise/thrifting) AND offers you another option for sustainable shopping in YYC.
