Today I’m feeling emotional because I know there are so many animals out there who don’t have loving families like me. Even though I joke about how annoying these crazy lesbians are and how I hate that they always stop me from pulling the cushions off of the couch, I love them so much that I can barely stand it when either one of them is gone. I know the hoomans are having a very tough time right now, but if anybody out there has more than they need, please consider donating money to @hollywood_huskies ! While many other shelters and rescues have had to shut down, the number of animals who need care and a home has only increased. @hollywood_huskies has taken on more than their share. My moms and I hope that this incredible rescue can stay open so that the puppies and kittens looking for their furever homes like I was, can find them too. . Today is Global Anti-BSL Day!! Luna was given to us as an “American bully” we still aren’t 100% sure what she is, we just know she’s some sort of bully mix. Regardless of what breed she is, she will always be judged by her looks. Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) states that “any dog that has an appearance and physical characteristics substantially similar to (APBT, Am staff, staff bull terrier)” is illegal in Ontario. The thought that at any given moment Luna can be taken away from us just because of her looks is upsetting. It is unfair to her that she is discriminated against and treated differently solely on her appearance. Whether you are a bully breed owner or not, it’s time for a change and to make a difference. Please help us be their voice today and every day! Ending the stigma and promoting the right education is extremely important. Sorry for the tease.... Working on one of my new designs today. Due to covid there is a delay on getting my final production parts. These are SO cool they are a thin surface mountable gold foil humbucker. I can do the do them with my Dearmond style coils, or the Guyatone style goils. In this case it is a mix with the Dearmond under the mustache, and my GT under the S half. 8 брендов от H&M group. ⠀ Начну с того, что они реально классные, как и для девушек, так и для парней. ⠀ Все уже, наверное, знают COS и то, что он принадлежит H&M group. ⠀ А что насчёт других 7 брендов? ⠀ @andotherstories - ещё один бренд из H&M group, более молодой, но уже более независимый: свои дизайнерские офисы в Стокгольме и Париже и полностью независимая от остальных марок дизайнерская команда. Только женская одежда в отличии от @cosstores . Да, по концепции схож с COS, но я бы сказала, что COS вообще вне рамок модных повесток, прям база-база, а вот в @andotherstories есть отражение модных тенденций, хотя и много базовых вещей, плюс у них большой выбор аксессуаров, обуви да и ещё есть косметика. По ценам, естественно, дороже H&M и чуть дешевле COS. ⠀ Однозначно, мой фаворит. ⠀ Второй мой фаворит, тоже из H&M group, бренд @weekdayofficial , акцент в котором сделан на дениме, в его магазинах часто устраивают вечеринки с диджеями. Представлено и женское, и мужское. ⠀ Остальные 5 брендов: ⠀ @monki - сочетание скандинавского стиля с энергетикой азиатского стритстайла. Качество не очень: заходила, видела, щупала, не покупала. Только женское. Есть и в Москве. ⠀ @arketofficial - для миллениалов. Сама не заходила, но даже на сайте видно, что качественное. Есть и мужское, и женское. ⠀ Cheap Monday - идеальные скинни. Были. Бренд рип с 2019 года. ⠀ @afound - маркетплейс, на котором собраны коллекции аксессуаров и одежда брендов со всего мира. Естественно, и мужское, и женское. ⠀ Кстати, мне нравился в 2019 году @hmhome . 🌷Flower Beauty Review! • I recently purchased the @flowerbeauty Light Illusion Foundation and Concealer and the Galaxy Glaze Holographic Lip Gloss and used for this natural look (I’m a natural makeup gal). Here are my thoughts! • Light Illusion Foundation - this includes broad spectrum SPF 18...and you can tell on application. It does have that sunscreen “glow” and because of this I was concerned of how it would apply...but I am super impressed? It FEELS lightweight however has solid coverage. It was super shiny before I applied my power, but after I did it settled and the sunscreen sheen disappeared! I purchased the shade “Porcelain” which on first glance seemed to be dark for me, but once blended; it ended up being perfect (also did NOT expect a pump dispenser and I was VERY happy with this). •Light Illusion Concealer - worked very well in hand with the foundation, and stayed put even after applying powder (I hate when concealer constantly budges). I didn’t wear it long enough to get it’s lasting power throughout the day, but I will be reusing - blends very well!! •Galaxy Glaze Lipgloss - I purchased this in “Soleil” and it is a BEAUTIFUL colour. In this look, I layered it on top of a Maybelline lipstick (very close to my natural lip colour) and it applied super well and looks stunning; however it does already have a colour to it and would look gorgeous on its own. I will say she is a STICKY gal...and because of this it is quite tricky to remove completely without leaving some glitter or residue behind. That aside, she is so pretty and has a perfect shine. OVERALL - I am SUPER impressed by this brand...and it is super affordable. I love my more high end base products HOWEVER not having to sacrifice quality for price? We’re busy getting ready for Record Store Day Drops #2 tomorrow (Saturday) ...not only will we have the exclusive/ltd new titles but we’re putting out a great batch of used New Arrivals like the ones pictured here! so I never really talk about my career on here but lately i’ve just been feeling so grateful for my job, my co workers, the company I work for, and the clients I work with. It feels like time has stopped. A cancelled trip to Spain, closing borders, and an increasing pandemic brought me back to NY where I’ve been in quarantine for 3+ weeks. My heart breaks 💔 for the world but I choose to find the silver lining. As soon as I got back from Europe, I dreamt in French for the first time...a moment that I’ve been waiting for. I rarely dream in Chinese or Vietnamese so this was a cerebral accomplishment.
