I ett första skede kommer solceller att installeras på en yta motsvarande en tredjedel av Kungsmässans tak. Northeastern Kentucky, 1830s. It was a place where people knew each other by name. Where hills exhaled into clouds and exhaled into low, fog-cloaked valleys. Where the woods were as vast as the secrets they held. One day, as if from thin air, a man by the name of Josiah Sprinkle appeared in one of those small, sleepy towns just miles south of Ohio River. Nie oznacza to jednak, że już nigdy się nie zobaczymy :) Być może zobaczymy się niedługo w innych, lepszych dla nas wszystkich czasach i w innej lokalizacji. Było nam bardzo miło Was wszystkich poznać, zbudować tu piękną rodzinę ludzi fotografii i filmu. Cieszymy się, że tak chętnie nas odwiedzaliście, jesteśmy bogatsi o doświadczenia i na pewno wykorzystamy to w przyszłości, aby stworzyć dla Was jeszcze bardziej atrakcyjną przestrzeń kreatywną na mapie Warszawy. I love sharing what I’ve learned & how I’m growing in hopes that it might encourage someone else, so here it is 😅 I’m slowly reading through the New Testament again (1-3 chapters a day). The chapter this morning (specifically Luke 18:9-14) hit deep. Have you ever tried to justify yourself to God? I’ve often done it over the years- “God I’ve kept most of your laws... see how well I’ve done... I could have done way worse but I’ve been obedient... I’m a good person...” etc. Over the past few years God’s been revealing to me that I’ve subconsciously tried to justify myself by the law rather than by his love. “The person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws.”(James 2:10) The truth is, I’m not a good person, none of us are. Only God is truly good. (Luke 18:19) Guess what?! As I’ve accepted this truth I’ve become more confident & secure in who I am because my worth is no longer based on being a “good person”, it’s based on God’s mercy. I don’t have to try & prove anything, because His grace is all I need & His power is made perfect in weakness. Now I can gladly boast in my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can rest on me (2 Corinthians 12:9). The more I exalt myself the more I’ll be humbled, but the more I humble myself the more I’ll be exalted (Luke 18:14). I can’t express to you how freeing this is! The pressure is off 🙌🏼 Yes, I still try to do good things, but the motivation now comes from the joy of being loved by & partnering with Him rather than the striving to be noticed by Him... because he noticed me when I was at my worst & still loved me. He called me worthy of being his daughter even when I’ve been an embarrassment to the church. Realizing that when you break one law you’re guilty of breaking all of it levels the false facade (or image) of self-righteousness that is the root cause of so much shaming and judgement on others. I no longer focus my efforts on sin-management, but instead I observe it as an outside growth or symptom that reflects something deeper that isn’t healthy. Puzzelen, verleggen en dromen Gepubliceerd op 1 februari 2020 19:23 Na weken Pinterest en het internet uitpluizen eindelijk de knoop doorgehakt en een definiete route vastgelegd. Ik had een klein duwtje in de rug nodig en die kwam er van Pieter uit Nederland. Neen ik ken Pieter niet maar we hebben leuk gechat. Pieter vond ik via #fietsennaarPraag. Ik contacteerde hem en hij was enthousiast om mij info te geven. Hijzelf heeft al veel fietsroutes afgelegd en fietste dus ook naar Praag via de route van de Europafietsers Fietsen naar Praag. Ik heb het boekje ook al geleend in de bib maar eigenlijk ligt het toch een beetje uit de baan als je vanuit Gent wil vertrekken. Voor elke route die hij fietst maakt zijn vrouw een routeboekje met fietskaarten. Ze berekende snel dat onze route 1.270 km ging worden. Toch een beetje veel km aangezien wij geen weken hebben om te fietsen. Maar stel je eigen route samen en ze zal ook voor jullie eentje maken. An offer I couldnt refuse! Dus geen treuzelen meer maar aan de slag. Eerst weken prutsen en nu lag de route op 2 dagen vast. Ja ja ik heb een deadline nodig om te presteren. De route vind je alvast onder de tabOnze reisroute. Nu kan het dromen pas echt beginnen. Leuke dorpjes en steden opzoeken langs de route, prachtige natuur bekijken, mijn Duits bijschaven.. Intussen heb ik ook contact met Duitse en Tsjechische organisaties voor transplanten. Ik hoop immers dat ik langs de route nog andere getransplanteerde kan ontmoeten en hen aanzetten om een eindje mee te fietsen of gewoon tot bewegen. De fietsen zijn al een tijdje gehuurd, nu nog op zoek naar ander materiaal. Van Lars kreeg ik een slaapzak die weinig plaats inneemt op de fiets, van iemand anders mag ik zakken en een fietskarretje huren. De volgende weken ga ik eens lijstjes beginnen opmaken van wat ik nog nodig heb. Heb je een trekkerstentje te leen of compacte slaapmatjes laat het maar weten... En intussen is het trainen ook langzaam begonnen. If I could tell my younger self one thing it would be..... Being busy all the time isn’t a bragging right. If this year has taught me anything, it’s to slow down and enjoy life. From the minute I was old enough to work, that’s exactly what I did. Junior and senior year of high school I worked every single weekend. When I got my cosmetology license I began working at a salon 50+ hours a week, 10 hours a day. For the entire summer after my senior year. I had no life. I was pretty miserable. And when someone would ask me how I was doing I would say “oh I’m soo busy!!” like it was something to be proud of! Although I’m grateful for the opportunity to work as much as I did and I did gain a lot of experience behind the chair, I can’t say I’m proud of it. Simply because I was miserable. My first 3 (maybe even 4!) years of working I missed out on activities with my friends, and made many sacrifices. My point is.. I use to be a workaholic. It wasn’t until this year when I realized the value in having time off. I realized what it meant and how it felt to take a step back. Its soo important to listen to our bodies and mental health. The manager worked with me on a customized plan that would ensure we had smooth access to some hard-to-reach properties on the island. He was creative and very responsive. Dear Customers, Partners, and Employees, On Monday, May 4, 2020, Eminence Speaker LLC resumed minimum basic operations and officially opened back up for business as usual on Monday, May 11, 2020. Today we are operating both our OEM and Distribution divisions with about half of our employees and will be adding employees as demand and safety dictate. During this time, we will be accepting deliveries, and making customer shipments, but our physical location will remain closed to others for the safety of our active employees. We are ramping up stock levels and are addressing each of our customer’s individual needs as quickly as possible.
