Investigators say that lack of identification, documentation and participation by Columbus officers, as well as obstruction by the police union, hindered the review process. The investigation sustained complaints against just one Columbus officer. Four officers were exonerated, and 25 were not able to be sustained. Mayor Andrew Ginther says more “egregious” complaints are still being considered for criminal charges. Columbus Police were widely criticized for their response to the protests that broke out in May, following the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police. Both advocates and City Council members raised particular issue with officers’ use of force, chemical agents and less-lethal projections on non-violent crowds. INI, VONIS OKNUM POLISI “ONE MILLION NO PROBLEM” Polres Jembrana memberikan sanksi kepada dua oknum polisi yang melakukan pemerasan terhadap warga negara (WN) Jepang. Keduanya terbukti bersalah dalam sidang indisipliner di Polres Jembrana. Dua anggota Polsek Pekutatan tersebut terbukti melakukan pungutan liar (Pungli) dan menjalani sanksi. Kapolres Jembrana, AKBP I Ketut Gede Adi Wibawa, Jumat (2/10) mengatakan dari sidang keduanya terbukti bersalah dan sama-sama dikenai sanksi. Namun sanksi yang diberikan berdasarkan tindak yang dilakukan. Pertama penerima uang, Aipda IMW divonis bersalah dengan hukuman mutasi bersifat demosi dengan pembebasan jabatan. Oknum ini tidak akan menerima tunjangan kerja dan menjalani kurungan di tempat khusus selama 28 hari. Sedangkan untuk terdakwa polisi kedua, Bripka IPG, juga dikenai sanksi mutasi bersifat demosi dengan 21 kurungan penjara. “IMW juga terkena mutasi demosi ke tempat penugasan baru dan pembebasan dari jabatan, ” sebut Kapolres. Sementara Bripka IPG dihukum mutasi demosi menjadi staf biasa dan ditahan di ruang khusus selama 21 hari. Dari fakta terungkap di sidang, Aipda IMW yang melakukan pemerasan ke WN Jepang menggunakan uang Rp 900 ribu untuk kepentingan pribadi. Sedangkan Bripka IPG tak ikut menikmati uang tersebut, akan tetapi mengetahui dan membiarkan tindakan IMW itu. Menurut Kapolres hukuman yang diberikan kepada Aipda IMW dan Bripka IPG sudah sesuai dengan aturan disiplin anggota Polri. Earlier today, Colonel Patrick Callahan visited Troop A Bellmawr Station during an inspection of assigned station members conducted by the Staff Inspection Unit. Staff Inspection Unit members conducted an inspection of troopers issued gear, troop cars, shotguns, rifles, duty weapons, and administrative records. Staff inspections have been a tradition in the State Police for nearly 100 years and they serve to ensure good practices are maintained across Division. Esto dentro del contexto de los resultados entregados por el INE Atacama, donde la región marcó un 12,9% en el desempleo, siendo esta la cifra más alta de los últimos años. Por otra parte, la cantidad de contagiados por coronavirus en Copiapó y Tierra Amarilla han ido en franco descenso, en las últimas semanas, lo que incluso llevó al propio Ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris a señalar “debemos destacar los esfuerzos de Atacama, con grandes progresos en la ciudad de Copiapó y en Tierra Amarilla, ciudades que prontamente tendrán buenas noticias de mantener su evolución positiva”. Todays rescue story is about Piper 🐱 the kitten! Animal Care Officer Sewell made location on a call about a kitten in a drainage ditch. Once she arrived, she tried to remove the cover but had to call CPS and SAFD to assist with getting access down the drain. Officers Flores and Winckler also arrived to assist and they began brainstorming on how to get the poor kitten out of this 20 foot drainage ditch. Unfortunately, the cover was shut tight and couldnt be pried by anyone. The kitten was getting impatient and started trying to jump and climb on the walls to get out. Officer Winckler got the idea to toss his rope into the drain to see if the kitten would grab onto it. After multiple attempts, he was able to lure the kitten into the loop of the rope and pull her up once she was safely secured! Piper was perfectly healthy and sent back to ACS where our rescue partners San Antonio Pets Alive were able to take her into their care. BREAKING NEWS : ANIMALS SURRENDERED – On Thursday, Animal Rescue Corps (ARC), a nonprofit animal protection organization, assisted the Henry County Sheriffs Department with the removal of 622 animals living in horrendous conditions on a property in Buchanan, TN; where a toddler was also found living in a cage. In the room where the child was found, there were also large snakes, some of which were ten feet long; as well as mice, rats, and other small animals. The property owner and two others living in the trailer were arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail. They have been charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, manufacturing of marijuana, as well as other charges related to weapons found on the property. Additional charges are pending, and all three individuals are being held with a $300,000 bond each. Temanggung terapkan sanksi sosial bagi pelanggar protokol kesehatan . Temanggung (ANTARA) - Petugas gabungan dari unsur Polri, TNI, dan Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Temanggung mulai menerapkan sanksi sosial kepada masyarakat yang tidak mengenakan masker saat beraktivitas di luar rumah dalam operasi penegakan protokol kesehatan pencegahan COVID-19. Kami dari Satpol PP, TNI, dan Polri melaksanakan kegiatan penegakan disiplin protokol kesehatan, dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran COVID-19, kata Kasi Penegakan Perda Satpol PP Kabupaten Temanggung M. Akbar di Temanggung, Jawa Tengah, Selasa. Ia menyampaikan hal tersebut usai melakukan operasi masker di Jalan Kranggan-Kaloran, tepatnya di depan Balai Desa Kranggan. Menurut dia, sebelumnya telah dilakukan sosialisasi di sejumlah keramaian tentang disiplin menggunakan masker untuk pencegahan penularan COVID-19, kini bagi mereka yang melanggar dikenakan sanksi sosial. Ia menyebutkan sanksi sosial yang diterapkan dalam operasi ini, antara lain menyapu jalan, menyanyi lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya, melafalkan Pancasila, dan push up. Bagi mereka yang melanggar sekarang masih dikenakan sanksi sosial sebagai upaya edukasi untuk mendisiplinkan warga menggunakan masker saat beraktivitas di luar rumah, belum diterapkan sanksi denda, katanya. Ia berharap melalui sanksi sosial ini diharapkan masyarakat bisa lebih tertib untuk selalu menaati protokol kesehatan, terutama penggunaan masker. Berdasarkan pantauan dalam operasi masker di Kranggan tersebut, warga yang tidak mengenakan masker didata oleh petugas kemudian diberi pemahaman tentang fungsi penggunaan masker. Virus Corona Krendang Serang Pelanggar Protokol Kesehatan Aksi teatrikal virus corona mewarnai pelaksanaan kampanye 3M di depan Puskesmas Kecamatan Tambora, Jakarta Barat, Rabu (30/9). Virus ini mengganggu setiap warga termasuk para pelanggar aturan penerapan protokol kesehatan. Lurah Krendang, Al Barkah mengatakan, kegiatan kampanye 3M ini terus digalakan di wilayah Kelurahan Krendang, Tambora, Jakarta Barat. Tujuannya agar mengingatkan kepada masyarakat untuk selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Pelaksanaan kampanye 3M melibatkan unsur tiga pilar kelurahan Krendang. Mereka memberikan imbauan sekaligus membagikan brosur berisi protokol kesehatan serta masker gratis kepada masyarakat. Kampanye 3M juga diselingi teatrikal virus corona yang beraksi mengganggu masyarakat yang mengindahkan protokol kesehatan 3M yakni Mencuci tangan dengan sabun, Memakai masker dan Menjaga jarak. Saya berpesan kepada warga untuk disiplin menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Sengaja kami bawa teatrikal virus corona dan papan nisan kuburan agar mereka lebih peduli terhadap COVID-19. ujarnya . Dalam kegiatan tersebut, satgas COVID-19 Kelurahan Krendang memberikan teguran sekaligus sanksi sosial kepada warga yang melanggar aturan penerapan protokol kesehatan.
