This 1989 Volvo 760 Turbo Intercooler got only about 238k km on the dash and one or maybe two previous owners, of which one was an old lady and according to her relatives she bought the car from the car pool of the @fcbayern somewhere in the 90s. The original papers of the car got lost over the 16 years it was not used and stored in a garage. For an 80s cars it’s equipped with anything you need, A/C, electric windows and sun roof, radio with cassette deck and heated seats. Дистанция длиною в 30 лет, на которой W140 придёт первым. Давайте в этот раз сравним не моторы, а трансмиссии. Вот и наступил праздник на улице тех, кто обвиняет W140 в технической отсталости: про его автоматическую коробку передач и рассказать-то толком нечего… Тут стоит очень и очень простой гидромеханический “автомат” 722.3. Передач – четыре, а электроника… Тут её практически нет. Вот, например, что говорится о 722.3 в мануале: В состав электрической части системы управления входят блокирующий выключатель стартера, выключатель светового сигнала заднего хода, а также магнитный клапан включения режима принудительного понижения передачи. При переводе рычага выбора диапазона в позиции D, 3, 2, 1 и R блокирующий выключатель обесточивает стартер. При установке рычага выбора диапазона в положение R выключатель светового сигнала замыкает цепь, предупреждая водителя о включённой передаче заднего хода. Другими словами, ни о каком электронном управлении речи даже не идёт. Поломки, конечно, бывают. Могут выйти из строя вакуумный модулятор или центробежный регулятор… Ну и если не менять масло, то коробка тоже может сломаться неприлично рано – до трёхсот тысяч пробега. Так что те, кто осуждает “стосорокет” за его техническую убогость, могут потирать потные ладошки: АКП у нашего экземпляра на редкость не интеллектуальная. Поэтому, наверное, и служит десятки лет и сотни тысяч километров. Другое дело – это “автомат” современного W222! Тут стоит коробка Mercedes 722.9 (7G-tronic). Всё, торжествуйте, любители прогресса: тут вам и дополнительная повышающая передача, и управляемое проскальзывание фрикционов. Ну и, конечно же, экономичность, которой W140 похвастаться не мог. Вот только работает всё это обычно не слишком долго. Не могу сказать, чем руководствовались инженеры Мерседеса, когда ставили в коробку 722.6 седьмую передачу. Скорее всего, их покусали “зелёные”, потому что другого объяснения появления седьмой передачи в обычном гидротрансформаторном агрегате найти сложно. И ладно бы одной седьмой… Тут и задних скоростей – две. Конечно же, всё это не могло не отразиться на ресурсе коробки. Before leaving for a weekend getaway with Kiki, I picked up a Yashica-Mat off Etsy as a lightweight travel camera so I could continue to work with 120 film. This Yashica has a 6x6 crop which is not a format I work with often. I found myself challenged in a new way and focusing more on composition once again. This camera has a fixed lens equivalent of about 50mm, the length I first started working with 2 years ago. 6x6 forced me to rethink balancing frames and positioning subject. Моё знакомство со шведами всегда происходит по одному сценарию. После стандартной фразы «Where are you from?”, на мой ответ «Russian», шведы удивлённо восклицают «Но ты совершенно не похожа на русскую!». Я отвечаю: «Конечно, потому что, я не русская». И следом вопрос «Оkey! Where are you from then?” 😅😁 Объяснить шведу кто я такая и почему я всё-таки «фром раша» не представляется возможным, так как в английской речи «фром раша - националити тоже, вроде как, раша». Если говорю, что родилась в Казахстане, думают я казашка. Знатоки лингвисты, подскажите, как можно правильно объяснить?)) Я бы может и не вдавалась в подробности, но шведам всегда очень любопытно знать. Даже шведы понимают, что я не русская😅 И даже у них есть стереотип о том, как должен выглядеть человек из России. Но самое интересное, что с Россией я у них вообще не ассоциируюсь)) Были даже курьёзные случаи. Так, например, в Умео, в церкви служительница мне долго рассказывала про исторические факты и что русские жгли город, и церковь пострадала в том числе. И только потом спросила откуда я 😁 После ответа - пауза. На её лице одновременно были изумление, удивление и смущение, сопровождавшиеся вздохом «Оууу») А дальше, как обычно, никогда бы не подумала, что ты русская) Меня это ни сколько не обижает и не смущает, а скорее забавляет. За свою меня даже свои не всегда принимают)) Зато всегда за свою принимали, как ни странно, евреи и некоторые представители других стран. В общем историй забавных и не очень, связанных с моей национальностью, у меня накопилось предостаточно. Так что адаптироваться в другой стране мне будет определённо легче. Потому что, как сказала моя подруга в Швеции, я и среди своих не своя, и здесь чужая😁 Но не смотря на это, я никогда не хотела и не стремилась скрыть свою идентичность и не пыталась затеряться, подстраиваться, слиться, где бы я не жила. Зачем? То, что я не местная, заметно даже по моему многоцветному саду, не говоря уже о внешнем виде. Социализироваться - да, безусловно важно, а интегрироваться - это не про меня.
