Båten 💙 Segelbåten vi är ute på äventyret med är av modellen Allegro 30. En 10 meter lång och 3,30 meter bred segelbåt ⛵️. Hon har korsat Atlanten tidigare så vi känner oss väldigt säkra ombord 🌊. Det finns två hytter där man kan sova två personer i vardera. Det finns även två sovplatser i salongen (båtens vardagsrum) där man kan fälla upp ryggen och göra sofforna till säng. Hon är även utrustad med ett pentry (kök) och en saltvattenstoalett 🚽 som man absolut inte får slänga något papper i för då blir det stopp 🧻 ❌ - @onedgeinspiration on Instagram

I’m fascinated with the colors and designs of spinnakers. My dad took this shot of @joelbucker unfurling the spinnaker on his new-to-him boat for the first time earlier today. Sailing into bushfire fueled haze amongst hundreds of people blasting around on jet-skis was oddly poignant. 📷:@bakesea - @popmag on Instagram
Aeolus was built in San Diego, California in 1904, she is an extreme plank-on-edge design (narrow beam, very deep draft, V shaped in section with all the ballast inside the boat). The designer is unknown but Kunhardt developed a GL Watson inspired rig. Originally she was raced successfully and later was used for chartering. She was re-built in 1982-3 with the keelson as the only original piece of timber left. She is double planked in cedar to the waterline with light timbers of iron wood. The topsides are fir and the deck is triple planked finished in Port Orford cedar. She was imported into the UK in 2003 and in five years had three owners who improved her but did little sailing as her spars and sail plan was over-canvassed. This resulted in excessive weather helm and an un-seaworthy boat. Anthony Wheaton purchased her in 2008 and is continuing her improvement. He has replaced the over-canvassed rig which had a boom that overhung the counter by 10ft with a balanced sail plan designed by Ed Burnett. В таких гонках участвуют команды всего из двух человек без инструктора. В четверг тоже в 18:00 пройдет очередная тренировка школы матчевых гонок. А в пятницу — наши (и ваши) любимые ночные гонки. Березки: В Березках в среду, четверг и пятницу действует специальная цена на тренировки командой — всего 7000 рублей за лодку. Также по будням проводим спарринг-тренировки на лучах в 12.00 и индивидуальные тренировки на этих лодках в любой день. В выходные будут специальные тренировки на Platu25 для всех, кто хочет подготовиться к финалу Кубка или просто погоняться в свое удовольствие. ➖The C&C 27➖ One of the most popular compact cruisers of all time, Canadian based Sailboat manufacturer C&C have created a cult following with this gem. In production since 1970 there have been 5 different “marks”, or modifications, to the design of the boat. The most deviant from the original design being the updated Mark V model. The speed and ease of use of the 27’er is what draws most perspectives to purchase. These boats will sail to speed in remarkably light wind and handle their own in a good blow. Moderately displaced, the actual displacement differs from design year and Mark. The Mark I seeming to be preferred by the masses due to its more robust design. The vessel came outfitted with an Atomic 4 gasoline engine originally, but this can be found upgraded on some models. The Yanmar 2GM being a popular Re-power. The interior ranges from straight lines and uncomfortable angles (Mark I), to posh and modern (Mark V). The head is claustrophobic, and storage space is lacking. The boat is more suited for a weekender than full-time cruiser. Good condition boats can demand a high price on the market these days. Prices range from $5,000 on the lower end to $15,000 on the higher. Mark V’s can bring even more due to their updated design. The final day of racing at Laser Euro Master Germany was another light wind affair. Only one race was completed in around 5kn from the south before it died off and came back from north. But in the end there was no time left to establish a fair race course before the time limit at 1400h. The leaders from yesterday, Thorsten Wyk in Laser Radial and Philipp Gläser in Laser Standard, both scored another bullet to consolidate their victory, so there was little changes in the overall ranking in both classes.
