Ingredients: 3 grapefruits 1 cup of water 3 oz Gin of choice (two shots) 1 cup soda water 1 cup sugar Ice 1 tablespoon Morton & Bassett Juniper Berries Instructions: Begin by making a juniper berry-infused simple syrup. Prep the juniper berries by smashing them with a mortar and pestle to release their flavor. Combine crushed juniper berries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium heat and reduce to a simmer making sure to stir frequently. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat to steep. Strain out remaining juniper berries and let cool. Slice and juice 2 ½ grapefruits removing all seeds. Set aside. In a cocktail shaker combine ice, gin of choice, fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, and 2 tablespoons juniper berry simple syrup. Strain and pour into glassware for serving. Use the remaining ½ grapefruit to cut slices for glass rim garnishes. Well..I wish I gave cleansing balms in general a shot when I started using make up because it has saved me SO MUCH time and effort. Esp with the stubborn waterproof mascaras, I’ve gone from triple cleansing with my wipes, cotton pad and cotton buds to just a 45 second smoooooooth therapeutic rub and it all comes off 🙆🏻♀️ . The @thenimetyou cleansing balm is my first and I have definitely fallen IN LOVE! I’m one for overall experience and this just does it for me - easy to use with a cute spatula, buttery spreadable texture, really effective and it smells sooo good 🧡 . Reviewing today one of my current favourite hair oils by @weeblends I oil my hair twice a week and looking out a good and nourishing hair oil is something I am always on a lookout for. Ingredients: Anyways let’s talk about star ingredients of this hair oil. It comprises of aloe, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, mustard oil, castor oil, neem leaves, coconut oil, almond oil, vitamin E, olive oil, hibiscus powder, tea leaves, coffee powder and so many other nourishing and effective ingredients. Texture and fragrance: The texture of this hair oil is not very thick and helps easily to cover the entire scalp and remaining hair with little quantity. Fragrance is the best thing I like about this hair oil, it’s very earthy and somewhat smells strongly of curry leaves. My experience: I usually keep any hair oil overnight and this one gets the same treatment too. Washing it off is easy, the oil gets removed with a mild shampoo too ( I usually do a double cleanse when it comes to washing my hair) so have never faced any issue with oil remaining even after the wash. I have seen changes in my hair texture, and my hair has become voluminous. My hair definitely gets softer after it’s application. Coming to hair fall, can’t comment at the moment( there are too many things that are responsible for hair fall and probably I will have to use this hair oil for a longer time to see changes in hair fall). Although I have seen my hair is less frizzy and dry. This oil is surely very nourishing and this fragrance kinda relaxes my mind too. If you are looking for an effective hair oil that deep conditions your hair and also that’s free of any chemicals, then this is a bomb one. This is a very popular Vit C serum around the ‘gram and I can see why after trying it (if you’re interested to try, stay tuned for next Tuesday 👀):⠀ ⠀ 🍊 I think this is the most gentle Vit C formula I have ever tried. Some of my more potent ones work ‘better’ (read: visible result in shorter timeframe), but sometimes I needed to take a break in-between because my skin can get a bit irritated.⠀ ⠀ 🍊 I like that it comes in a non-clear packaging because Vit C goes bad so quickly when exposed to sunlight (colour change, started to smell funky, etc). ⠀ ⠀ 🍊 This is quite hydrating because of the Squalane and gives a nice glow to the skin too. (the best season 😩) happy wednesday everyone! we are actually so proud of this shot today. it also showcases two beautiful products from @farmacybeauty ! their green line is everythinggggg🦩🍂 . . 🍂deep sweep is perfect for sensitive skin (like mine!!) because if gives a gentle exfoliation of BHA without being too harsh. i usually try to use only every other day, because my skin is super sensitive to acids. daily greens is a great, lightweight moisturizer, but i would say that it isn’t SUUUPPPER light, so she can be used transitioning into colder weather. it’s hydrating but not overtly, so our oily friends know where it’s at 😂 some people have commented on the scent of daily greens- it had a definite “green” scent which could be a lot if you aren’t used to it! deep sweep kinda smells a little weird to me, but the smell dissipates very quickly. the aftersmell is like papaya-ish, which we all know isnt the most pleasant. 😬 BUT the product makes it worth it!
