PONTE DA BATEIRA Rio Paiva, Castelo de Paiva Atravessando as bravas e cristalinas águas do Paiva – rio considerado dos mais limpos da Europa – a ponte da Bateira enquadra-se de uma forma harmoniosa na paisagem. Diz-se que por estas bandas havia um barco que fazia a travessia entre as duas margens do rio – daí a origem do nome desta ponte – também conhecida como ponte do Loureiral, provavelmente pela abundância de loureiro por estas paragens. A construção desta bela ponte de granito em arco teve início em 1881 e foi terminada em 1893, tendo como funcionalidade a ligação entre os povos de Castelo de Paiva e Cinfães mantendo-se ainda, nos dias de hoje, como um dos principais pontos de passagem do rio Paiva. Por aqui, o rio Paiva é conhecido pelas suas águas bravas, excelentes para desportos de aventura. Mas as águas límpidas que percorrem estes vales escondem uma diversidade de fauna e flora assinaláveis. Por estas águas turbulentas, aves como o melro-de-água e o majestoso guarda-rios procuram alimento. O lagarto-de-água e a cobra-de-água-viperina são alguns dos répteis que por aqui andam. 💧Rutas fresquitas para todos💧 Acabamos de pasar una de las semanas más calurosas del año (es lo que tiene el verano), y seguro que ahora lo que nos apetece es poner los pies en remojo. Yo (al contrario que El Residente 😬) pienso que las aguas de montaña se saborean mejor después de una caminata. Disfrutas el camino y tienes premio al final 🏆🏆 Aunque a veces también apetece ir del coche al agua, ahorrándonos el sudor del camino. La imagen corresponde a la ruta del río Borosa, merecidamente la más famosa del parque natural de las Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas. Las pasarelas son su foto más tomada, y sin duda el trozo más recorrido del camino. Nosotros llegamos con @turisnat.cazorla y me quedé con ganas de seguir hasta la cascada de la Calavera, de la que había visto imagenes espectaculares. Esta semana en el blog (link en la bio) os hablamos sobre las piscinas naturales que encontraréis cerca de Cazorla, en Jaén, para que os podáis remojar y quitar el calor de agosto. ¡ @viveandalucia también en verano! #andaluciadespierta ¿Qué ruta te ha dejado con ganas de más? A free flowing Middle Fork of the Nooksack River in Washington, now open for business for salmon and steelhead. An excavator places the last few large boulders before the restoration work is complete. Its been amazing to document this dam removal since June.
