It’s been an opportunity of a lifetime to film @harveyharvey as he’s told his life story and how his discovery of rock climbing became an outlet to finding mental health. We’ve visited many spectacular spots around B.C., but most importantly we got to explore the area that gave him the desire to pursue this passion in the first place, Squamish. @kylesmithfoto let Harvey climb a couple of his new routes he developed in the North North Gully, including this incredible pitch called Arcturus — named after one of the brightest stars that can be seen from earth. Even the name of this route could be a metaphor for what this documentary has provided for me, Harv, and @zachoffman. The ABDOMEN X-RAY: I alway found this exam to be tougher than the chest X-ray. So what do I look for? 1. Bowel - small bowel is central and large bowel is around the periphery. Look for dilated loops of bowel filled with gas and or air/fluid levels to suggest obstruction. 2. Check for free air under the diaphragm. That’s a sign of bowel perforation. Your next move should be to pick up the phone and call the referring physician. Do not miss this! 3. Look at the organs, particularly the liver and spleen and determine if normal in size or enlarged. 4. Scan the kidneys and ureters and check them for calcifications indicating stones. 5. Look for calcifications in the right upper quadrant which indicates gallstones. 6. Check the bones of the spine and pelvis. Look for fractures or destructive lesions. Honestly, there is a lot more information that can be gathered from an X-ray of the abdomen, but those are some of the basics and I hope this helps you guys refine your search pattern. #anatomyoverlays - @theradiologyguy on Instagram

So far our journey on bike & fingertips is going well. Every sunny window we climbed in Rätikon and on Teufelstalwand. Yesterday we arrived below Wendenstöcke and will spend the next days here. The biking is slowing us down a bit on our climbing objectives, legs are exhausted after 2 huge mountain cols but @caronorthofficial and I are adjusting the routes to our current level. We have tons of fun and amazing support of friends on our way. Every day we are running into them. Today some more biking up to Wenden Alp. These drawings were shown in the retrospective titled Joe Sacco. Comics Journalist in the year 2015 and are now part of the museums collection. Joe Sacco (born 1960) is a Maltese journalist and cartoonist living in the USA. He has revived comics journalism and developed it to perfection. Today, he is considered the most important representative of the genre. His reports from conflict zones offer deep insight into areas of the world where discrimination, persecution, and war are ever-present. They lend a voice to people suffering from violent conflicts, and thus arouse understanding and empathy with the readers. His critical and highly sophisticated reports and his absolute standard of quality have broadened the scope of comics and won them new audiences. 1990, one year after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Joe Sacco returns to Berlin for almost two years, and stays afloat as a cartoonist and poster designer for rock concerts. In this period he produces the autobiographical short stories The War Junkie, Save Us, and Palestinians and Others, which are already short documentary reports, anticipating the comprehensive comics reports.
