I feel like my Instagram is like a never ending telenovela. I started it as an aspiring photographer, then I used it to showcase my achievements in fashion photography, came back after I got depressed and decide to speak up, so that I can maybe give others some hope that you can get over this. Later I decided that I will continue posting the photos that I took, because I owe it to myself and they deserve to be seen. But they are so many of them and it seems like they will never end! In the meantime I visited a few places, again took way too many photos and now Im left with even more to post. So yeah, one day the show is going to end but I am on an episode 947 and cant seem to be even seeing the end of my stash. All the visual memories keep popping out like a long lost uncle coming back from amnesia and now hes actually a prince as well and your mother in law is plotting rob your entire savings. All of that from my cozy sofa. Yeah, I spent way too much time playing with my imagination. Wish I could say Im cooler in real life but thats probably not the case. A couple of days ago we published a feature on @itsnicethat about @brendanbarryphoto who apart from being a photographer also builds cameras out of the most peculiar things. Recently he turned the entire 46th floor of a Skyscraper in Manhattan into a giant camera. The word bokeh, translated from the Japanese term ‘boke’, means blur or haze and refers to the blur produced in an out-of-focus image, which we think nicely captures the essence of the early rock ’n’ roll days at this infamous drinking spot. Kate Bellm the highly talented Mallorcian based photographer, works from a self-built studio between the ocean and forest.
