BELATED UPDATE: It’s been a whirlwind of a couple weeks here in Chiefs Kingdom. Chiefs are going to Super Bowl LIV!!! #WorktoLive - Who has shown me or done this better than my dear friend/kindred spirit/residency BFF than @alizaali? She always found a way to work hard, and play harder. She never compromised patient care for outside activities but always utilized her time off to enjoy living in NYC from a concert in the park to an amazing new restaurant in the west village. I always look back at our amazing dinner parties with fellow residency friends and how hard to laughed, it made all those long calls and pressure at work dissipate really fast. She always showed me that Alex, you are more than a doctor, you are a person with so many interests and passions and you shouldn’t put those completely on a shelf for residency. She showed me how to “have it all” while not letting anything slip. She made what could’ve been the toughest time, some of the best times and I’m eternally grateful. when I found out I was having Olivia I pushed for my goals like n e v e r before. I matched my full time corporate income with my coaching income, and it allowed me leave my full time job to enjoy and figure out motherhood. While I’ve continued to help women on their health and fitness journeys and grow our community, I did a little coasting in my business. But hey - that’s exactly why I built it, to enjoy this season of life and not have to leave my baby while doing something I absolutely love 🤍 This past year has been a dream come true for me. I went from working 6-7 days a week to make ends meet while missing out on everything, to being a present mama all while still providing for our family! This month we’re back babyyyyy and we are completely zoned in on leveling up and pushing for some big dreams our team has together!
