Early on Friday morning from the coastline of Tecolutla, Veracruz we set off on a non-stop adventure over the course of the following day and a half until we reached the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacán, Mexico City. We reinterpreted the journey of Moctezuma’s fish couriers—running through countless townships and multiple states. We crossed water, got chased by dogs, got lost, froze, and survived numerous speedbumps; however, those challenges were easily overcome in contrast to the love and hospitality we received as we entered each township, the sights we saw, and the friends we made along the way.⠀ ⠀ I’m so grateful I got to experience this with such an amazing, strong, and supportive crew. 3 years ago today in this parking lot I gave my life to God. A few days after I flushed an oz of weed down the toilet and have been sober and living for God since. I didn’t go to rehab or do a 12 step program. I did it through the power of the Holy Ghost. It’s the only way to truly live free. Since then I’ve got my Associates degree in Bible and Theology at Christian Life College and I’m going back for my Bachelor’s degree. I’ve seen people healed of various diseases and pain. Tumors have disappeared, cancers have left. Out of all the miracles I’ve seen the greatest has been seeing people filled with the Holy Ghost. I’ve seen it in the church and I’ve seen it on the streets. Someday I will see the lame walk, the dumb talk, the deaf hear, the blind see and the dead raised back to life. Someday I will see 3,000 filled with the Holy Ghost in one service In Jesus Name. I will be apart of turning this world upside with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Though the mining of the park started in the 1870’s, it peaked around 1920 or 1930. One of the most notable mines, the Lost Horse Mine, still has a well-preserved mill which can be seen along the Long Horse Mine Hike. When temperatures start to cool in the fall, this is a great 4 mile hike or a 6 mile loop. First day of school from home AKA online school for this First Grader! We decided to pretend we needed to put our backpack on and walk out front then come back in to the house to start our day. Convincing Valentina to change and “get ready” this morning was difficult. She brought up several valid points about the purpose of brushing her hair or putting on shorts lol thankfully, the teacher went over class expectations that included “appropriate clothing” during the online class. Antigua central térmica 💧🌚🚂 📍Aliaga 📸 @ja_ju_el 📂 La central térmica de Aliaga fue la primera fábrica en generar energía eléctrica por medio de carbón que creo Eléctricas Reunidas de Zaragoza, hoy Endesa, en España, inaugurándose en 1952. Al principio la central se suministraba con las minas de la zona pero al final se agotaron y eso encareció los costes al tener que transportar el carbón a la central desde minas más lejanas. En el año 1982 cesó la actividad definitivamente, ya que para la empresa eléctrica era más rentable quemar el carbón en las centrales de Escucha y Andorra, que ya estaban en funcionamiento. En 2016 después de tanto tiempo abandonada, se ha propuesto su restauración y conservación con el objetivo de crear un museo sobre el ciclo del carbón y lugar de actividades culturales. ‼️ Desde la presa se inicia el barranco Hoz Mala o Tosca que apenas tiene aproximación (3/4km) y que finaliza en el molino de la Tosca . Además es el más largo y acuático de la zona de Aliaga. Despite the unsafe and crucial wildfires that keep spreading, they still have to go to work as harvest is at its peak. Children have been struggling to start their distant learning school year as they have to live in such dire conditions. Farmworkers and their families need us to come together and help them with basic supplies and mutual aid. They are underpaid, receive little to no benefits, are working through a heatwave, wildfires that are still at 0% containment and not to mention A PANDEMIC. I wasn’t going to post this because if I’m being honest I had a rough year with my vines. It’s making me feel like a failure. Aforaron todas las cajas y desordenaron todo 😡 cuando estuvieron listas se cae el sistema y no podía sacar nada 😖 llegó el 🚛 y no llegaban los que descargaban 🥵 y esa foto fue después de bajar no se ni cuántas cajas 😢 Y porque cuento todo esto?? Porque cuando uno empieza algo tiene que comprometerse 🙌🏼 y mi socia y yo estamos con todas las ganas en esto 🤩 El camino para llegar aquí ha sido de mucho esfuerzo y trabajo en equipo, ella confió en mi para llegar a esto de tener muchas de las ventas obtenidas on line con una campaña de hormiga y yo en ella y su gran experiencia en Importaciones. Hace 6 meses yo tenía mi proyecto de kids world encaminado con muchos niños felices en sus vacacionales y fiestas hasta abril y paso esto (pandemia) y todo se vino abajo . Pero por eso pregunté si creen en el poder de la mente y señales.. 🤔 A mi se me cerró un parque 💔😢 pero se me abrió todo un puerto 🚢 y eso fue porque nunca deje de lado ni de creer o pensar en proyectos que con el equipo y trabajo adecuado podían lograrse..
