Mukshpuri, is a 2,800-metre-high (9,200 ft) mountain in the Nathia Gali Hills, in the Abbottabad District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northern Pakistan. It is 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Islamabad, just above Dunga Gali in the Nathia Gali area of Ayubia National Park. It is the second highest peak in the Galyat Region after Miranjani which is located at 2,992 metres (9,816 ft). Ubicado en la Región Metropolitana nos encontramos con el Cordón de Manquehue, es una montaña que tiene una altitud 1.638 metros y 9 km de extensión que abarcan los cerros El Carbón, Manquehue y Manquehuito. Divide las comunas de Lo Barnechea y Vitacura, @mapascompass nos deja algunos tips para tener en cuenta! . Dificultad: media Tiempo total: 5 a 6 horas ida y vuelta Desnivel: 986 mts Distancia: 17 km total Época: todo el año Señalización: Sendero marcado todo el camino. Entre el Carbón y el Manquehue seguir los monolitos de piedra, recomendamos complementarlo con mapas GPS de aplicaciones varias. Ropa adecuada: Depende de la época de año. Siempre hay que vestirse por capas y llevar bastones de trekking ya que los senderos de los cerros de Santiago suelen ser resbalosos y secos. Llevar abundante agua ya que no hay en todo el sendero y son varias horas de caminata. . - It’s culoir season in the Colorado backcountry
Memorial Day ski in La Plata Canyon. I try to ski this fun line once each spring. Mini Couloir off the top opening into a hanging bowl and then a nice steep gully to finish. The top 3/4 of this line was really good smooth 🌽and the bottom 1/4 was 💩(AKA survival skiing) pocked with fallen rocks, sun cups and dirty snow. Tough to find long lines with good snow top to bottom in late May in low tide seasons like this. Still a great way to spend a morning outside, very socially distant, and thinking about those that gave their lives so we can enjoy the amazing gift of freedom. - @sbrunso on Instagram
