В интернете идёт много сборов детишкам с разными заболеваниями. Некоторым я сама помогаю. Разбираясь в этой теме я поняла, что многие проблемы реально можно было избежать своевременно начав лечение, а для этого надо было просто вовремя прийти на чек-ап. Вовремя сделать УЗИ сердца, вовремя пройти невролога или хирурга. Я сама очень беспокоюсь за здоровье Ратмира и в беременность ходила по 10 раз на дню на УЗИ - фигурально выражаясь, хотя и понимала, что это перебор. С рождением мое отношение не изменилось - лучше постоянно держать руку на пульсе. У каждого возраста ребёнка есть определенные чек-апы , которые нужно проходить. Не во всех клиниках предлагают этот перечень обследований таким, каким он должен быть в идеале. Посмотрите в акаунте @nashevremya_clinic Последний пост как раз на тему обязательных чек-апов. Именно в этой клинике мы ведем Ратмира с рождения и тут же делаем чек-апы, с полным обследованием с головы до пят, они специализируются конкретно на педиатрии. In 2018, our family was featured on the cover of Playa Vista Magazine. This was very special for me because it represents how we have been able to establish a rooted identify as a family in our community. This is an opportunity I never had growing up. . . I moved 13 times growing up. This is an example of how changes sometimes are imposed upon you. Some changes are by your own choice, but many times, the changes we have to adapt to are due to external factors beyond our control. . . While changing your environment can be really hard, I honestly attribute the bulk of my personal and professional success to my transitional lifestyle. Although an introvert, moving helped me develop an extroverted adaptive personality to meet new people. I also lived a life where I was constantly proving my value in new environments. If I was a top student in my class one year, the next year, I was in a new school, and I had to fight my way to that status all over again. . . Changing my environment eliminated the option to be complacent. . . Even though I would like my kids to benefit from the stability of being established in one place, I am teaching them to be unafraid of changing their environment. . Mein Baby nimmt seine Familie nun schon seit einiger Zeit bewusst wahr und kennt Mama nur mit Glatze. -Dennoch strahlt er mich jeden Tag an, denn er erkennt mein Gesicht, meine Mimik, meinen Klang der Stimme... Mein Großer hingegen kennt Mama mit langen Haaren und musste sich erst an Mama mit „oben ohne“ gewöhnen. Wisst Ihr was? Ich trage daheim nur selten eine Perücke oder Tücher, da ich mich mit Glatze einfach wohler fühle. Wenn ich im Garten bin und der Wind weht, dann fühlt es sich so an, als wenn ich meine langen Haare noch hätte... ja, ich vermisse meine Haare, aber „oben ohne“ zu tragen, ist auch ok... wenn ich kurz vor die Tür in den Vorgarten gehe, setze ich nichts mehr auf den Kopf- denn ich sehe im Moment nun einmal so aus. Die Blicke der vorbeigehenden Leute sind dann eine Mischung aus Schock, Mitleid, Scham und Vorsicht- was schade ist, denn wieviele Frauen verstecken sich aus diesem Grund unter Perücken, Tüchern und Mützen? I struggled the first few weeks of the lockdown — too many things coming at once—Helping the kids adjust to new routines, fielding unrealistic work request, anxiety and sadness from being at the epicenter, watching it all unfold. But slowly we started to find our ground. One of the epiphanies I have had during this time is while none of this is really ideal and I’m ready to get beyond COVID, I have no interest in “going back to normal“. The truth is a lot of the shit we had accepted as normal, was actually not ideal for our family. Being at home has allowed us to implement routines that we’ve tried previously but just wouldn’t stick. It’s allowed us to be attuned to our children in ways that just we wouldn’t have been able to, if we were rushing from place to place. It allowed my husband to take a more involved role in our day to day. The days are long, but we’ve managed to find more time to connect after the kids go down. Sneak in impromptu date nights and bonus— sex on days that weren’t the weekend. ⠀⠀ So, while I’m looking forward to the days that I can have more than fleeting moments of solitude, warm hugs and physical support from those in our village. I am also looking forward to integrating the good lessons from this time and allowing them to find their rightful place in our new normal. Alguns bons, outros nem tanto. Essas fotos foram as últimas em Fortaleza, poucas horas antes de decolarmos a viver mais uma história do novo de Deus. I’m still the only Punjabi kudi in my family to have married a Catholic! Even in this age and time, love beyond religion is many a times frowned upon. Harrison came in my life as a blessing from God. I was a workaholic for whom making money was the only focus of the time. And that kind of constant pressure and fear steals all kinds of happiness from you. I, a socially awkward, introverted, under-confident girl who had no friends whatsoever and no time for love, met a guy who made me realise my worth, taught me how to laugh over silly things, live life to the fullest and not simply exist. Your life matters. I am so saddened and broken over what is going on in this world. How it affects people of color and the way you have to raise your children of color. A couple of years back, my son asked me, “mom how come I’m darker than you and my dad? I just want to be your color. I feel different.” I remember crying and telling him that he is beyond beautiful the way he is. That I literally sit in the sun for hours and tan just to look like him. I reached out to my best friend @_b3nny and told her about this conversation and she was shocked. She told me that my baby boy has the perfect complexion. He has such a natural glow about him and how in love she is with his skin. I told him that no matter what people say about the way you look, you are fucking beautiful. I’m terrified. More for him than I am for myself. No matter how RIGHT you can raise a child, there are still monsters out there that will treat them WRONG simply because of the color of their skin. Last year June 2019, one month before our wedding, we lost our baby. And while we’re so blessed and thrilled for this new rainbow blessing, I’m not ashamed to admit I often feel fear and lots of anxiety. I pray about it and trust that my body will do what it’s meant to do. Today I’m sharing my story for all the women out there experiencing ptsd from child loss. You’re not alone. Pregnancy for everyone isn’t easy! I was unaware of the amount of women it happens to and those that chose not to ever speak on it. So I take this time to be as vulnerable and transparent as possible and say it happened to me too. Trying again for months and nothing happening. It’s tough..I’ve experienced it all and wouldn’t change a thing! To all the first time, second time, how ever many children moms going through pregnancy/labor during this time, I send you so much love! We may not be having baby showers, seeing family/friends as much, having our spouses at doctor appts, or doing all the things we had planned in our heads to enjoy pregnancy. Happy Friday Folks! Cutting my hair off has lightened me up a little, made me feel stronger, more like myself. Being here at @smugorange and @bubblebini ‘s spot in the middle of the trees these last few days since shooting, working on a script, has warmed me up and cheered me and helped me get focused on writing, working out again, laughing in good company. I’m behind on some stuff ( #TWD4TLF winners, I’ll be spending the weekend hooking up the call schedule) but I’m ready to move forward with renewed energy. I hope wherever you are you’re finding your own grooves to lean into, to awaken yourself. Such disorienting times and not always easy to take the care needed to keep positive!! We plan, God laughs... . . My mom has been in #Abidjan for a few weeks now. She thought she’d be with us for just a few days, but the coup d’Etat in #Mali completely changed her circumstances. She can’t leave for as long as the country’s borders are closed. But what it means is that we get some unexpected mother-daughter quality time. . . First and foremost, Thank you. Thank you to each and every individual who has prayed for me, thought of me, sent me their love and has showered me with their support. In this present moment, it is my only responsibility to be real with myself and to be real with the ones who truly love me and care for my healing. I have without fail, shared with you my brightest days, and I know that sharing with you what has been my darkest will be the light for any man or woman who is feeling the same defeat I felt just only a week ago.    Every one of us has a desire, whether small or big, to make it out of where we come from to an ideal future place that includes, freedom to be who we choose, security for our children and families, and fortune to share with the ones we love. We believe these things can co-exist with just being happy. I believed that, that as a black woman, as an artist, an influence, a personality I could shape my world, and with whom I believed to be my partners, they could help me share my world.   Over the past 11 years there were promises made to protect and portray my story, with the authenticity and honesty I gave. I was betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid. I wrote a letter over 2 months ago asking to be freed from what I believed was excessive and unfair. I explained in personal detail the demise I was experiencing. My cry for help went totally ignored. However the demands persisted. It was my spirit, and my soul that was tainted the most. There are a few things I count on most to be, a good mother, a good daughter, a good partner, a good sister, and a good person. Who I was, begun to mean little to nothing, because it would only be how I was portrayed on television that would matter. It was witnessing the slow death of the woman I became, that discouraged my will to fight. I felt like I was no longer living, I was existing for the purpose of a corporations gain and ratings, and that killed me. Mental illness is real. We have to normalize acknowledging it and stop associating it with shame and humiliation. The pain that I have experienced over the past 11 years has slowly ate away at my spirit and my mental. Yes I’m still breastfeeding. ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ I’ve had a few of you guys ask me how I’ve weaned my daughter off my breast? ⁣ I haven’t I’m still here guys, this is what my life after work looks like. By the time I get home my boobs are full and Mariya is waiting for me at the door.⁣ The first time round I just cut her off after a year, the struggle was real for my boobs yes! There’s no lie in that. ⁣ This time round it’s a lot harder I’ve spent a lot more time at home due to the pandemic, which means there was nowhere to hide or wean her off.⁣ I’m also struggling because I miss her all day.⁣ I’m just enjoying our daily bond after work.
