FATHERHOOD ATM This is how I’m feeling right now about being a DAD. ♦️Flo is at a stage/age now where she is radiating such affection towards me! It warms my heart so much and just makes me giddy when she comes up out of nowhere to give a hug. ♦️It’s a big deal for me because early on in her life, she was so dependant on Mumma, and despite all the love, care and attention I gave her, it often seemed as though she was indifferent towards my presence most of the time. ♦️But now I feel the love from her so often. When I come home from work and see her smile it lights me up no matter how hectic the day was. ♦️I feel so grateful right now for this connection and the love in our family. Life isn’t always smooth, so I give thanks to the universe for the opportunity to experience ALL OF IT. ♦️To all the Dads out there doing it tough in the early stages of fatherhood, changing nappies and sleep deprived. I say keep going strong. La cantidad que comen, agobia a los padres y abuel@s, sobretodo cuando se deciden iniciar la alimentación complementaria con la metodología Babyled feeding (que toma en cuenta varios aspectos madurativos del niño, sus progresivas habilidades y la importancia neurobiológica de este proceso en la Construcción de un Cerebro feliz y la adquisición de hábitos saludables para su #HistoriadeNutrición) Me escribe una mamá : “ Mi bebé, que esta semana cumple 7 meses y tenemos casi un mes que iniciamos la alimentación complementaria probando varios alimentos: carne, pollo, auyama, cebolla, tomate, brócoli, aguacate, quinoa, lechosa, patilla, entre otros pocos (🤭🙈🤣) Me preocupa que todavía no come como tal, la mayoría de las veces medio prueba algo y luego no lo toca. Hemos tenido un avance en cuanto al agarre de los alimentos y llevarlos a su boca, pero realmente siento que no come . ¿Crees que debo intentar con sopas y papillas para garantizar que “coma” y se nutra? “ Cada bebé es diferente y tiene su tiempo, pero por lo general el primer mes, hay mucho componente lúdico (juego) y exploratorio. Lo importante es la consistencia del estímulo, evitando coaccionar a bebé por nuestro stress de controlar la situación (cantidad de comida, cantidad de veces, patuque). Recuerden que la primera fase transicional de la leche humana exclusiva (o fórmula si no amamantaste) a los alimentos sólidos, es desde los 6 y hasta los 8 meses. En esa etapa su alimento primordial sigue siendo la leche que consumió hasta el 6 to mes, que aún cubre aproximadamente el 80% de los requerimientos nutricionales y los aportes específicos, para satisfacer brechas energéticas a predominio de hierro por ejemplo, se llenan con pocas cantidades de alimentos específicos (si aún no sabes cuales son, puedes bajar mi ⚡ebook gratuito en la link de mi bio, donde también puedes solicitar cualquiera de mis consultas).
