News 21st September Reading entrepreneur features in book and donates 1,000 masks to Ghana By Olivia Gantzer @oliviagantzer AN AWARD-WINNING business owner from Reading has been featured in a unique book celebrating female entrepreneurs. Akua Wood, founder of Sheabutter Cottage from Reading, has also donated 1,000 masks to Ghana during lockdown. She was selected from thousands of applicants to take part in #SheCan365, which told the stories of 365 female entrepreneurs over 365 consecutive days in exactly 365 words. The #SheCan365 project began when multi-award-winning online marketing specialist Helen Pritchard challenged former journalists Michelle and Christian Ewen to publish a new, inspiring story online every day for an entire year. Akua Wood, Founder of Sheabutter Cottage said: Out of all the female entrepreneurs in the UK, I am honoured to have been chosen to be included in the #SheCan365 project, which is a world first I hope telling my story will inspire all future female entrepreneurs – empowering them for success. As well as manufacturing vegan, hand-made, natural, fair-trade beauty products and toiletries in Reading, I also set up a co-operative in Ghana to help produce the sheabutter we use. Since lockdown, I have donated more than 1,000 reusable cloth face masks to the Jilima Coop @jilimacoop as well as two districts in Ghana to help curb the spread of corona virus. Peredaran Narkoba di Kabupaten Sragen masih memprihatinkan. Setidaknya selama kurun 8 bulan 2020 hingga September ini sudah ada 20 kasus yang telah diputus dan berkekuatan hukum tetap (inkracht). Hal ini terungkap saat digelar pemusnahan barang bukti 45 perkara tindak pidana umum di Kantor Kejaksaan Negeri Sragen, Rabu (30/9/2020). . Pemusnahan dilakukan pejabat Forkompinda dipimpin Ketua Kejaksaan Negeri Sragen, Sinyo Redy Benny Ratag dan dihadiri perwakilan instansi dan institusi terkait. “Dari 45 kasus tersebut 20 diantara masalah Narkoba. Meliputi 20 perkara tindak pidana narkotika dengan barang bukti sabu-sabu 9.1 gram. Kemudian barang bukti 6.113 butir pil koplo trihexyphenidyl,” kata Sinyo. . Jumlah sabu-sabu yang dimusnahkan dengan cara diblender itu meningkat dari tahun lalu yang hanya 3,8 gram. Sehingga ada kenaikan 5,3 gram atau hampir dua kali lipat yang disita dari pemakai, kurir hingga bandar. . Sementara pil koplo yang dimusnahkan dari tahun lalu hanya selisih 84 butir lebih sedikit. Sementara itu selain narkoba barang bukti yang ikut dimusnahkan adalah 4 perkara tindak pidana kehutanan (ilegal logging). Kemudian 21 tindak pidana pencurian, perjudian dan pelindungan anak. “Selain itu gergaji tangan satu buah, arit (sabit) dua buah, peralatan perjudian jenis dadu 1 set, linggis 2 buah, pakaian 9 potong,” terangnya kepada wartawan. . Kemudian peralatan hisap atau konsumsi sabu-sabu (bong), korek api bungkus plastik, kotak rokok narkotika. Handphone berbagai merk sejumlah 13 buah. HP itu dihancurkan dengan palu. . Ini semua kasus yang kita tangani sejak awal tahun sampai saat ini,” ujarnya. Adapun pemusnahan barang bukti tindak kriminal dan penyakit masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara dirusak, dan dibakar. Sementara untuk sabu-sabu dilarutkan dalam air. . Sinyo mengakui, sampai kini masih ada sejumlah kasus yang masih ditangani. Pihaknya tidak bisa menyebutkan secara rinci kasus yang tengah diproses Kejari Sragen tersebut. “Kalau pidana umum kita harus menunggu putusan pengadilan. Jadi kita tidak tahu berapa kasus lagi. The Delhi government’s education department officials will hold a meeting on Thursday discuss the Unlock 5 rules issued by the Union home ministry on Wednesday. According to the latest guidelines, the decision for opening schools and coaching institutions in a graded manner can be taken by the states/union territories after October 15 “in consultation with the respective school/institution management, based on their assessment of the situation”. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) will take the call in notifying the relaxation order by the central government guidelines. The DDMA is chaired by L-G Anil Baijal and CM Arvind Kejriwal is it’s vice-chairperson. However, the education department will be entrusted with working out the modalities on how the relaxation is to be implemented, once permitted. Reacting to the MHA guidelines, a senior official from the deputy chief minister’s office on Wednesday said, “We had announced for closure of schools till October 5 in the capital. This gives us time to go through the guidelines, consult stakeholders, and take the decision on the reopening of schools in the national Capital. We will hold a meeting on Thursday.” Even though the last guidelines issued on August 29 allowed voluntary school visits by students of classes 9 to 12 for guidance from September 21, the Delhi government had announced on September 18 that all schools in the Capital would remain closed for till October 5. Schools across the country were shut in March in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Nasib mujur dialami oleh Rohmadi, salah satu pengguna jalan asal Kecamatan Karanganyar yang melintas diseputaran Alun-alun Kebumen, tepatnya di depan Gedung DPRD Kebumen. Dompetnya yang kosong tiba-tiba diisi uang oleh Kapolres Kebumen AKBP Rudy Cahya Kurniawan saat jajaran Polres Kebumen tengah melangsungkan operasi Yustiti Rabu (30/09). Kemujuran nasib Rohmadi bermula saat dirinya tengah melintas di lokasi operasi Yustiti. Sebagaimana para pengendara motor lainnya Rohmadi yang mengendarai motor seorang diri itu segera ditepikan ke pinggir jalan raya setempat oleh petugas yang ditugaskan menertibkan lalulintas. Kapolres Kebumen AKBP Rudy Cahya Kurniawan yang saat itu berada didekatnya pun perlahan mendekati Rohmadi yang telah lengkap memakai atribut berkendara, termasuk mengenakan masker. Kapolres lantas melakukan sidak dompetnya dan para pengendara lain.  Saat mendapati dompet milik Rohmadi kosong tak berisi uang dan hanya berisi surat kendaraan, tanpa menunggu lama, Kapolres segera mengisi dompet miliknya dengan lembaran uang tunai Rp. 50 ribu. Tak hanya Rohmadi, sejumlah pengendara yang didapati tidak memiliki uang di dompetnya dan telah tertib berkendara dengan protokol  kesehatan juga diberikan uang Rp. 50 hingga Rp. 100 ribu. Ini adalah bentuk reward kepada masyarakat yang telah patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Semoga apa yang kita lakukan ini bisa menjadi rangsangan positif kepada warga masyarakat untuk selalu mengenakan masker, jelas AKBP Rudy didampingi Wakapolres Kompol Subagyo dan pejabat utama Polres.  Kapolres menambahkan, operasi Yustisi yang dilaksanaka di kawasan setempat itu digelar untuk menertibkan para pengendara yang tak bermasker dan bergerombol.   Alhamdulillah pak, saya pas nggak bawa uang. Dompet kosong, cuma ada surat-surat. Malah dikasih uang sama pak Kapolres. Saya kalau ke mana-mana selalu mengenakan masker. Ternyata ada hikmahnya, ucap Rohmadi  Selain memberikan rewards berupa uang tunai, Kapolres juga membagikan sayur-sayuran kepada ibu-ibu yang tertib bermasker.
