Here is an early photo of Norwegian black metal band Ragnarok, circa 1994. Hailing from the same small city (Sarpsborg) as Metalion of Slayer Mag, Ragnarok were a perfect fit for Metalion’s record label Head Not Found. Although they had become label mates with Ulver and Gehenna, it seems they never reached the cult status of those aforementioned bands. It’s to no fault of their own though, as their first three albums “Nattferd”(1995), “Arising Realm”(1997) and “Diabolical Age”(2000) are immaculate studies pure black art. Not to mention the handful of amazing album they would release in the 2000s. Thankfully their first two albums, which have been notoriously hard to obtain, were just recently reissued by @dsr_productions 🏆 - @arcanearchivist on Instagram
