This is an obsession” Conor McGregor New day, new month, but the same approach and focus. #ThrowbackThursday is a cardio day off of the weights....waking up this morning after leg day I really need to work out some of the lactate and to really stretch out my legs give them a chance to recover. It’s interesting to have a cardio day as it takes me back to the lockdown period when running was primarily about shedding body fat to get in a position to build up- now it has a different purpose as we build up. The competitive spirit is still there though, and I’m aiming to chase down a fast time burning some calories. Legs are heavy after breathing squats, max reps and hard 30s on leg presses to end. Like I’ve said before- it’s a style of lifting that leaves me nowhere to hide and I really feel it.
