Seeing the beauty of the whole route, my heart swelled with joy. It was Beautiful, I wanted to capture small moments in my camera but we had to come back the same day. We had a lot of fun that day but my mind was still in those beautiful mountains. After that before going to sleep at night, I talked with my brother about this whole place and told him that i want to go again. Hearing this,he told me yes let’s go. Then the next day we talked to the parents that we want to go there again to which one of my uncle replied that you people should go to Noori Cham ( a picnic spot) near Bufliaz (poonch) n then we asked him if there was any trekking from there, uncle told us yes there are a lot of trek but it is not safe therefore, you should do a short trek and do not stop there. After hearing this we planned a trek the next day. June26, 2018 We woke up at 6 in the morning and then at 7 we started our journey from poonch to Noori cham and we reached noori cham at 9 then we took a short break parked our vehicles, After that we started our trek from “Noori cham to Girjan Medoland” it is about 7-8 km long trek through forest right from Noori cham (behramgala village). We started our trek at around 9:30 and reached girjan at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, The trek was very tiring aa the climb in the last 1 km was very heavy, but the view was worth it. We were mesmerised by the view of that place, This feeling i can’t describe in words. A renowned writer Shri krishan chander described the beauty of girjan in his story as “Girjan ki ek shaam”❤️ . And often seen on the pinnacles of mountain tops to scare the shit out of you. . ~ This was my first encounter with a mountain goat. People have always advised on staying away and give them space to pass you quietly. As they’re one of the most unpredictable species on steep terrain. . ~ Also, they dont have the same response to humans as many other animals. They protect themselves by staying on steep terrain or edges, so if you meet a goat on the trail, it wont immediately react by running away. It doesnt feel threatened by people. And that’s dangerous. Questa produzione ossea cade e cresce ogni anno, lasciando lanimale senza difese una volta che il suo palco è caduto, in attesa del ciclo successivo! Poi, si induriscono fino a diventare unarma per competere tra maschi al fine di corteggiare le femmine che sono sprovviste di palchi. Au départ assez fragiles et couverts de velours, les bois vont durcir pour devenir de véritables atouts pour se disputer les faveurs des femelles qui ne possèdent pas de tels attributs. Au contraire, les bouquetins, les chamois et les mouflons sont coiffés de cornes. Celles-ci ont une base osseuse bien ancrée sur le crâne et sont recouvertes de kératine. Elles poussent tout au long de la vie de l’animal. Chez la plupart des espèces à cornes, les femelles en sont également pourvues, à part chez le mouflon. It’s hard to describe as a father the range of emotions you experience while hunting with your son or daughter! Add to that the emotionally and physically draining, daily grind, of sheep hunting and it will no doubt be an unbelievable #EXPERIENCE ‼️ This was definitely an ambitious hunt for both myself and @ethanmprice but on day 6(our last day to hunt) after enduring bad weather and being stuck in a tent for 2 of the 6 days Ethan capped off a hunt of a lifetime with a great 10 year old ram. Hier, au sommet du Rocher Blanc (2928 m et plus haut sommet randonnable de Belledonne), les bouquetins étaient bien au rendez-vous. Derrière cette étagne et son cabri, on aperçoit le lac de la Motte et le lac Noir, 800 m plus bas (photos 1 et 2). Sur la 3e photo vous assistez à la tétée. Vue plus large sur la 4e photo avec, derrière les bouquetins la Crête et les Pointes du Mouchillon, plus loin la station du Pleynet (les 7 Laux) et le Grand Rocher et, au fond, la Chartreuse, du Grand Som au Granier. Une très bonne journée dans cette partie sauvage du massif (je ne devais voir personne, sauf près du sommet et le berger et son troupeau au-dessus du Rieu Claret) et la satisfaction de fouler ce sommet pour la première fois. - A rather confident steinbock I found last week hiking on Mount Legnone, a nice alpine peak between the Como Lake and the Grignone (snowy peak on upper right, 2410 mt. also part of the Bergamo Alps) in northern Lombardy (IT). Its height (2609 mt) makes the Legnone the highest peak of its sub-group.

It was supposedly photographed in Alaska back in the early 1990s by a gentleman named Tom Soucek of Anchorage. He was tight-lipped about the ram’s whereabouts and for good reason. Only 1% of wildlife degrees are awarded to black students (including foreign students; US Dept of Ed., NCES), while 13% of the US workforce are African American (US BLS). Geographic and economic disparities between blacks and whites—all products of decades of systemic racism—limit access to the education and experience needed to do this kind of work.This is an issue (among many others) created by white people to protect our power. Claims of nature is for everyone are false when white culture has guarded the outdoors as our own. THIS HAS TO STOP! To my white friends, family and colleagues, now is the time to reflect on our privilege; think about how we are provided opportunities not given to POC; educate ourselves on systemic racism, understand it, acknowledge we benefit from it, and take action to make change. For a start, listen to the Seeing White podcast by Scene on Radio, read White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo, support organizations at the frontlines of the fight, such as @ywcampls @aclu_nationwide @headwatersfdn and @artemis_sportswomen , and most importantly, continue to discuss these issues with the people of your community. Nothing worth having comes easy 🐐🐏 A splendid day the kiddos looked out over Turnagain arm; back in the days Lachlan still hitched a ride in my backpack for uphill sections ♡ 🐐🐏 There were times I wish I had 6 arms raising these two. Bergsteiger would be trying to eat my work schedule and Lachlan would be under my van, turning his fur from white to dark grey. Bergsteiger was always seeing just what he could get away with. I called it testing my love. Lachlan would get an upset stomach quite often and Id constantly have to give him herbs and dunk him in streams to get the diarrhea off his butt. Then Bergsteiger started realizing he had horns. He was super mean to Lachlan when he didnt want to play. I considered getting Bergsteiger another little goat so they could be rowdy. Lachlan just liked to eat, sleep, and cuddle. 🐐🐏 As time went on, Bergsteiger learned how to gently play with Lachlan. He still tries to eat paper. He still bullies his brother more than acceptable sometimes. Lachlans belly is SO much better! His main issue now is turning his ears on to listen to me, even if the plant hes eating is superr delicious. 🐐🐏 All in all, theres still some things we all need to brush up on. Looking back, weve come so far :) 🐐🐏 Think of some things youve improved on or sorted out.
