It exemplifies punk rock to the very core, standing up for what is right, regardless of the proper diction or moral compass of communication it upholds. Curse for a Cause, Dr. Madd Vibe says - because it is just the right thing to do. When I met Angelo for the first time in NYC and took this photo, I listened to stories. Not stories of glory, not stories that bragged about being in a legendary punk rock/ska band, but stories of struggle. Stories of hate and perseverance to rise above it all and keep going. Talk about inspiration. This dude made me want to be a part of his cause, his movement. The power of positivity is a great thing, my friends - and Im not going to tell you that Ive been perfect at it. I have stumbled a few times during my journey. But I get up again, let the wounds heal, and learn from the experience. How can I be a better human? How can I react in a better way to help my fellow humans and not to hurt them? My teacher, the honorable Mr. Moore showed me how. I mean, he has a Doctorate Degree in Punk Rock, right?
