This. Is. CRAZY. Even my moms neighbors caught wind of this through social media. THANK YOU for putting this out there. WAYY OUT THERE! I cannot express how grateful I am to have a community stand behind my mother. Shes shocked (of course she is, but aside from the trauma) to see all the support. An update on her: I did not see her today but I did see her yesterday and she was walking at normal pace and even playing with her grand kids. She said she was still sore but she is managing that with pain relievers. An update on the case: I contacted the officer in charge yesterday to give more valuable information but Ive yet to hear anything about the video footage that we had to wait until today for to get. I hope this doesnt fizzle away but ill keep pressing. An update on the business: We will be open for business on Wednesday. My mother is ridiculously strong, mentally and physically. I would prefer her to take some more time off but shes adamant about going back to work on Wednesday. Please go show her some support. Which also brings me to say weve reached out Go Fund Me goal today! I just dont know what to say! Im so happy she doesnt have to worry about paying her medical bills.
