- This is the first finished project I have ever frogged. When I knit this dress over a year ago, my gauge was way off, and I had a mini skirt. But that is not what I wanted. So I’ve ripped out the old dress, and re-knit it wit more stitches. I blocked it too large, but it finally fits me.

For my birthday this year, Im asking for donations to a local business that is near and dear to my heart. The weight started to shed. 1 lb at a time turned into 30 lbs. I have never been more thankful towards myself for reclaiming my power to take control of my circumstance and how I treat myself and my body. I have never been so into fitness in my life and fueling my body properly while still not feeling deprived, because your girl still loves her carbs and sweets. And I have never been so happy in my damn life. If you want to change you can. But only you can do it. No one else. And trust me there is no quick fix. - Can anyone suggest DK yarn to buy in these colors (or similar colors)? The yarn that the designer suggested on Ravelry was sold out. My local yarn shop didn’t have these colors in the right weight. I normally just buy mass-produced yarn from my local Joann’s, so ordering online is brand new to me.

- 3 years ago today I underwent a full hysterectomy due to an aggressive form of cervical cancer. After 2 recurrences, I am now 10 months into remission. My daughter and I are celebrating a cancer free 2019!!
