Bonjour à tous, Le week-end dernier, j’étais à Hockenheim pour mon premier week-end de F3 Eurocup. Le week-end c’est passé principalement sous la pluie. J’ai pu me classer deux fois 8ème pour les qualifications. Course 1 j’ai réussi un bon départ et ensuite la voiture me permettait d’avoir un bon rythme en course. Elle me permettait aussi de rouler en attaquant ce qui m’a permis d’aller chercher la 5ème place. Ensuite la course 2, le départ était aussi bien et le début de course également. Je peux remonter jusqu’à la 5ème place aussi, mais la piste était très humide, je me suis fait surprendre et la voiture est partie en tête à queue. Je me suis retrouvé au fond du peloton, mais j’ai tout donné pour terminer à la 12ème place. Cette 5ème place me réjouis vraiment pour mon premier week-end en F3 Eurocup. En plus j’ai pu me qualifier deux fois dans le top 10. Maintenant je me prépare pour mon prochain week-end de course qui se déroulera les 25 et 26 Octobre, sur le circuit Yas Marina à Abu Dhabi. Tomorrow I’m finally once again heading to what for me two years ago seemed almost impossible. My second 24h of Le Mans, once again accompanied by @rahelfreyracing and @manuelagostner. Honestly sometimes I have to pinch myself just to be sure that it’s not all just a dream.... Racing goes up and down, most of the time due to financial reasons, but I’ve gotten myself into a position where all I have to do is to race, perform and enjoy. That’s honestly rare in racing. I feel honored, privileged and EXTREMELY lucky to get this opportunity once again, and even though I’m a person very focused only on the results in the end of the day, I truly believe that it’s important to stop that for a moment and just step back and enjoy. I’ll do that this weekend, I’ll enjoy and I will be proud of what I’ve so far achieved. Haters will say I’m only racing at Le Mans because I’m a female driver, and you know what. That’s so damn true! Female, male or whatever. In the end we are all racers. BACK IN THE GAME ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The all BOS Factory crew was really happy to be back on track for the 13th round of the world championship, in Loket, Czech Republic. Anthony Rodriguez is a traveler for sure. Away from his Venezuelian home very early, he did compete in the US with significant results. Then he came twice in Europe showing impressive speed in MX2, but sadly, the age limit forced him to go back in the USA… Olivier BOSSARD : « Anthony was a real fighter last year, showing good heart at every motos. It was for me the perfect rider to replace Bobryshev. The trip wasn’t easy to organize of course between licences, assurances, appartements, logistic, testing, but we made it. We clearly have no willing for Anthony’s results. We just want him to have fun. That’s our number one priority » Coming into Loket, the goal was to score a few points only, and start from there. P27 in Free Practice and P29 in Time Practice was not what expected Anthony for sure… But there is no surprise. No racing since a long time, a lot of training in the sand for the coming rounds, the first REAL bumpy track, and of course this slippery-rocky soil was a nightmare to have Anthony comfortable on the bike. But we worked all together, we changed settings, we transformed the bike in a short amount of time to have him feeling good. After a very good start from the 29th gate, Anthony was charging hard at P13 ! He battled for Top 15 during 8 good laps before loosing a few spots at the end for an important P20. Anthony Rodriguez: « Yes that was better for sure. I had a good flow until I made a mistake on lap 8, and then I lost momentum. I need more time on the bike to adjust, to get better physically and mentally but it’s a good beginning to start from. Can’t wait for tomorrow… » That was a short night for mechanics, cause the speed of Top 15 is different, so datas showed us some interesting things that we can work on.
