Starting October 1, the Rec Center Leisure Pool will be open for limited hours (Monday to Friday from 6:00-8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 4:00-6:00 p.m.) with enrollment for 1 hour time slots required. Max occupancy will be 1 per lane (2 lane swimmers total), 4 in the leisure area, and 1 in the vortex. Face coverings will be required on the pool deck but not in the pool. Mens/womens/family locker rooms will all be closed and the only available shower will be on the pool deck. The dry changing room will be available. But once it came time to book it, I’ve been in a holding pattern in this new world we’re living in. I decided that I needed a goal in the future; something to look forward to. I also really need a goal to train for (whether it happens or not... to be honest). I also need to believe that our lives will have at least some normalcy in the future... There are no words to express the joy I felt being able to get back in the water safely after four months. I almost forgot how therapeutic the water is, and I swear I had this big of a smile on my face the entire time I was swimming. I was also smiling because I was singing and dance-swimming to T-Swift’s new album the entire time thanks to my @aftershokz Xtrainerz. Kiedy w planie napisane jest pływanie TEST to wiedz, że będzie bolało. . Sprawdzaliśmy dzisiaj co tam drzemie w rękach i nogach po sezonie triathlonowym. Muszę powiedzieć, że źle nie jest. Choć wiem, że dla niektórych 400m w 6:16 to jak dobra rozgrzewka ale dla mnie to wysiłek konkretny. A po takim machaniu 5 przerwy i dawaj kolejne długości. Tym razem 200 do odcięcia. Kiedy to mięśnie już ostro zalane kwasem mlekowym i kolejne nawroty już są coraz wolniejsze, trzeba walczyć z głową. Rezultat 3:05. . Do domu wracam na autopilocie. Nie mam siły trzymać kierownicy. August 2020 konnte unsere Wasserballmannschaft U16 in der Schöneberger Schwimmhalle, natürlich unter Beachtung der Hygieneauflagen an die sich alle noch gewöhnen müssen, endlich wieder gewohntes Terrain betreten. Der Cheftrainer der Jugendwasserballer, Stefan Pieske, hat diese Gelegenheit genutzt auch die Sportler der U14 des Jahrgangs 2007 dazu einzuladen, da diese ab der kommenden Saison bereits für die U16 spielberechtigt sind. Diese Maßnahme soll insbesondere der gezielten Förderung einzelner Sportler dienen und ihnen eine zusätzliche Trainingsgelegenheit verschaffen. Появились эффективные и безопасные средства по уходу за водой, предотвращающие развитие водорослей, регулирующие кислотность содержимого бассейна, коагулянты и тесты. Thomas DiDomenico Municipal Pool will open for the season on July 4th Weekend! ** The Recreation Division will follow the New Jersey COVID-19 Outdoor Pool Standards ** The Pool will be closed to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9:00 am to 1:00pm, to allow City Day Camps access. The Pool will open at 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and close at 6:00pm. The pool will open 10:30am to 6:00pm, on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays: There will be no birthday parties. Only Bayonne residents are permitted into the pool. **Out of town guests are prohibited.** Information on after-hour parties to be announced at a later date. Senior Swim: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am to 10:30am. Pete Amadeo, Recreation Supervisor, stated that the daily admission fees for this year will be: children 12 years old and under - $1.00, 13-64 years old - $3.00, and seniors, age 65 and above -$1.00. ** Any Bayonne resident who does not possess a City of Bayonne ID will be charged $5. ** You must have a City of Bayonne ID to enter the facility. I didn’t learn to swim until I was ten years old & then it just clicked. I swam competitively for Northampton - early morning training...swimming galas...cockroaches..the lot. My teens were brilliant as a result. Friends.Team spirit. Competition. I loved every second. I’ve since dipped my toe into open water swimming which has been a whole new adventure but I will ALWAYS love the lure of the swimming pool. Nothing beats the turquoise of the water when the sun shines through it and as for the smell of chlorine.. it’s my signature scent. As we all know, 2020 has been wild as a result of this pandemic and losing access to facilities such as the beach, gyms, restaurants and the local pools has severely impacted many. The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre now fully open and operating under a COVID management plan has been an absolute god send for helping me manage not only my fitness but my mental wellbeing. I’ve been going twice weekly for hydrotherapy since late last year (apart from when it was closed of course) and take advantage of both the outdoor and indoor pool. Both heated and open to the public when swim classes for the little ones aren’t on. This world class swimming and aquatic facility caters for the whole family whether or be for sport or play. Twenty (20) years ago today was the start of four fantastic days volunteering at the #sydney2000 Olympic Canoe Slalom event at @penrith_whitewater 💦 With a sold out stadium crowd each day, the atmosphere was electric⚡as the worlds best #canoeslalom athletes chased their Olympic dreams. The racing was exciting and we were fortunate to literally be amongst the action, myself as a member of the Water Safety Team and Deb as an Athlete Liaison ... seeing first hand the paddling skills of legends such as Tony Estanguet 🇫🇷 Michal Martikan 🇸🇰 Stepanka Hilgertova 🇨🇿 and the talented Hochschorner brothers 🇸🇰 in the C2. COVID-19 UPDATE 16 JUNE 2020 – COOTAMUNDRA INDOOR POOL TO REOPEN WITH RESTRICTED NUMBERS SWIMMING BY BOOKING ONLY . Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) has announced today that the Indoor Pool in Cootamundra will re-open on Monday 22 June. The pool will be operating with restricted numbers and a COVID safe plan in place. . CGRC mayor Cr Abb McAlister said the decision to reopen the facility was made after extensive plans were put in place to comply with COVID-19 safe working plans. . “I’m pleased our staff have been able to formulate a safe plan for all pool users, it’s been difficult to juggle the financial viability with the restricted numbers allowable and with the communities need to use the facility,” Cr McAlister said. . Council is required to follow the latest restriction guidelines set in place by the NSW government. The current restrictions in place are: - Pool access will be by appointments only.
