On rainy days we have tickle fights before nap time 😂😂 Plant tip: I want to encourage you all to start harvesting rain water and using it to water your plants! I’ve known about the benefits of rain water for years and it just seemed like such a extra step lol but your plants will thank you! I’ve only started exclusively using rain water on my house plants and herb gardens for the last month and I’ve seen noticeable growth in EVERY. SINGLE. PLANT I own! Ive even seen growth in my most stubborn stagnant plants but the most growth I’ve seen has been 4 trailing inches in my heart leaf philodendron and 7 inches of width & 5 new unfurled leaves from my monstera adansonii in JUST over 2 weeks of having them! Rain water is much higher in oxygen and carbon dioxide than tap water and it doesn’t contain chlorine (almost all plants are susceptible to chlorine toxicy), fluoride, added minerals and sodium. All of which can build up in your soil and block nutrient delivery making it harder for your plants to reach their full potential. But no worries rain waters slight acidity can flush out all the built up sediment and allow your plants to receive more nutrients from your soil!! It will release the micronutrients in your soil like copper, zinc , iron and manganese all of which are in a lot of soil mixtures and are extremely important to plant growth! Also use it to remove any sediment built up on your leaves from using tap water in your humidifiers and misters. Plants turn carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates that fuel the plant this process is call photosynthesis and carbon dioxide is boosted in rain water making photosynthesis much more efficiently achieved! What makes us.. us? We all have an individualized flow chart of sorts.. Ethnically I’m Bengali but I’m American born & raised 🇧🇩🇺🇸 a Michigander to be exact (have you HEARD me pronounce my vowels? 😂). Currently I’m planting roots & raising my family in California. Community was a massive part of my upbringing but historical & linguistic culture wasn’t as present, its something I’ve learned & bonded with more as a young adult. All of these things make up my identity of me, myself, & Irene. My husband’s chart is more complex as an immigrant… he juggles a lot of balls that make Waseem, Waseem. He was born & raised in Saudi Arabia, it was home for the first 12 years of his life and even longer for his Pakistani family 🇵🇰 We’ve visited Riyadh a few times since getting married but this last visit was a little different! His parents had settled back in the US so we weren’t visiting anyone.. Waseem was traveling for work and I took it slow with Iya adjusting our body clocks. Someone blasted me for going on an “influencer trip”. I explained that I hear her, but I wasn’t working on anything and that I tagged along to show our daughter where her dad grew up. After lots of back & forth, ultimately.. she did not understand that this was Waseem’s hometown where ALL his happy childhood memories were. Is he not allowed this part of himself? Or my daughter as her paternal family’s history? I got into everything I mentioned earlier about identity.. My husband is Pakistani.. so in the same vein, should I view him some type of way because of the 1971 war? Aren’t we all just people? Governments *should* represent their people but we can all agree that people don’t always represent their government. As Americans especially we should understand this; as well as multi-faceted identities! I believe its important to live & travel with intention but life isn’t so black & white. Seks adalah sesuatu yang sakral sehingga tidak boleh dilakukan sembarangan. Di dalam kitab Ayur Weda tertera aturan tentang hubungan seks yang disebut Mithuna. Tidak hanya mengatur soal waktu, tetapi juga pantangan-pantangan dalam berhubungan. Ayur Weda menganjurkan, untuk mendapatkan keturunan yang baik dalam berhubungan seks, sebaiknya tidak dilakukan pada siang hari, saat matahari terbenam (sandya kala), dan saat hari-hari suci yang disebut parwadina. Hubungan seks hendaknya disesuaikan dengan Rtu Kala, yaitu musim atau fase menstruasi istri yang disebut Mahatika. Hubungan seks yang dilakukan saat menstruasi berdampak kurang baik bagi kesehatan dan aura tubuh. Hubungan seks yang baik, jika dilakukan atas dasar persamaan keinginan (mood), berdasarkan hari baik dan menghindari pantangan-pantangan yang berlaku. Lontar Usada Bali menyebutkan, hubungan seks tidak baik dilakukan bertepatan dengan hari lahir masing-masing pasangan atau saat wotonan, sebab tidak akan mencapai kebahagiaan, hidup menjadi tidak sehat dan pandek umur. Selain itu juga disebutkan, bahwa persenggamaan tidak boleh dilakukan pada hari Selasa, Rabu dan Sabtu jika hari itu bertemu dengan hari Kliwon, karena tidak bagus untuk keturunan yang dilahirkan nantinya. Dalam ajaran Agama Hindu ada beberapa larangan untuk melakukan hubungan suami istri seperti : 1. hubungan suami istri sebelum menikah, 2. hubungan suami istri pada hari-hari suci Hindu, 3. hubungan suami istri di tempat-tempat suci, 4. hubungan suami istri di tempat-tempat umum 5. hubungan suami istri di dapur 6. hubungan suami istri di sungai yang disucikan 7. hubungan suami istri di kandang sapi 8. hubungan suami istri “satu dua” atau “satu tiga” 9. hubungan suami istri di mobil dan hubungan suami istri diluar kelayakan. Hubungan ini disebut hubungan seks yang adharma. Jika hasil hubungan ini terjadi pembuahan maka mahluk yang lahir adalah mahluk yang disebut kumiligi. Mahluk ini adalah mahluk yang tingkatannya lebih rendah dari pada manusia namun diijinkan oleh Tuhan untuk menjelma menjadi manusia melalui orang-orang yang melakukan hubungan seks yang adharma. .
