Let’s learn and open our eyes, ears and hearts to stories that challenge us, inspire us, and keep us open to each and every type of human. There are stories that deserve to be heard that have been shut out. I’ve watched things this month I should have watched when they first came out. It should never be a question of whose stories deserve to be heard, it should be the question of what are you choosing to listen to and if those stories don’t include the voices of black women, black transgenders, black non-binary people, and black men then we have work to do.
