. I sipped my melancholy up tonight. I consumed every last drop of it and made sure I didnt breathe till I throw it all up again. I lie partially lifeless on the bedroom floor, my tongue sticking out like a beaten dog to summon air. I attempt raising my hands every minute or two, hoping theres life left in me, but each try is futile. My fingers are numb, and my eyes bloodshot over memories that were to be buried long ago. . Am I cynical of myself for trying to find insanitys sanity? .. My retina doesnt perceive its surroundings anymore. Theres the face of an acquainted stranger that hovers over it incessantly. I try getting it off. Rubbing my eyes so strong as if they were the last thing I wish to have. They bleed after a minute or two while I smile. The tear-soaked blood streams down my cheeks to the white bedsheet I was currently sitting on. I caress my fingers over each droplet, joining them to resemble those of wine stains. . They say red is a colour of sin. But red makes me alive. Am I a sinner then? .. I try yelling at the top of my voice, but instead of sound, I find butterflies coming out. They fall straight into my laps and after a second, DIE. Am I the brigadier of death? Did your old self too got killed by my hands? .. I gaze at the mirror in front of me. Surprisingly, there is no one. I palpitate and stumble closer to it. Still blank. I look behind to see a perfect silhouette formed by the lights over my pallid body. . I guess, lately, Im nothing but a shadow cast by your remains. .. Exhausted, I go back to where I was sitting in the first place. My phone beeped with your call. .. I pick up. We for courtesy conversate as you initiate a question. Hey babe, what are you doing? Nothing. You mind if I come over? Sure. Any plans? .. Yes. We will make love over wine-stained bedsheets. What? Why so? Because a glass slipped off my hands and fell on the bed. Im too tired to change it. You dont drink, though. .. I disconnect the call. ©Sahil .. I hate writers block:- Banging my head over table with rattling vibration in my earlobes thinking hard and hit by the instant whiplashing that my pen was injured it was not able to bleed blue. Trying to put jumbled words together making senseless couplets , screaming for the aid My sonnets were loosing its rhythm. I thought Maybe dehydration is the reason for the choking that I cant find voice in my words ,but while gulping water I feel like the half dead fish flapping and agonizing at the shore , unable to reach the ocean , struggling to survive. What could be biggest irony than this , you think you are alive ,but your organs fails to breathe. You see everyone feeling the breeze , but for you every inhaling is the countdown to survive. Who says overthinking kills ,No. Its you facing your fear and reality but this time my ink became the victim. 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒎 .....𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒓... 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔 .... 𝑵𝒐 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍....𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒓𝒓 Grooving my face in the pillow while playing 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒓 on loop maybe the high pitch could resonate the echo in my mind . I want the Magnetos helmet for writers block It sounds cringy but my ink is like the Cape of those unsung heroes, definitely knows one thing about them ,they are brave and roar loud Maybe the Tomorrowland which I imagine in my words is in existential crises triggering my real time and am still finding reasons to hold tight onto my pen. I know we all just want our ink to float fiercely in peace because the pen is mightier than sword and lighter than feather. Announcing new winds // and I guess that year autumn engaged with February after visiting the nine realms from the Norse Cosmology. Living each dimensions, the midgards ; a new excuse would be born. For when Id say again TIME HAPPENED, he would piss like OUT OF DATE. Art dripped down my collar bone when my eyes met his and I wondered how would it be like to fall in love with a boy whose brown eyes propose owning to every essence of the season. Warmth of blush pinks the face of initials not willing to slip at each other with a smile, you see more blood in your hands than the lip bites you suppress to control your smile. And then just like that he turns away. Thats it ! .... I remember this today for my protocol entry. What say Ive a good defence for the coming autumn ? Initially a new piece of time has occurred between us but see this, two years appears like yesterday and folding ball inked papers into my chest pocket and the obvious roar of your bullet. Shy wimps of love sick birds flap wings under my stomach and the stranded memory of you antidotes the nesting hunger. I studied the stars from the books of my library (no hints), aquarius and gemini (me) are ideally matched. Maybe the Universe isnt itself able to separate the truths from lies, for maybe I was carried away for a few seconds of the eyes and thats why I stop myself from romanticism of boys like you beacuse ours was revolving around the eyes. But this really seems the urge of time for the need of my poetry. Why do I over think ? .... PS : I know youll are wondering Yours Ex-Elan wrote something which sounds sorting dates of L-O-V-E !
