Today Josh and I have been together for 5 years, married for 3. And this weekend has already been so memorable with fun and new experiences for both of us! I knew I loved horses and flowers, and I never thought I would love fly fishing! I’m excited that Josh and I found a new activity we love doing together. We have a new addition to the Herring Family! This is Enzo (aka Big Boy, Big Head). We adopted him just before Thanksgiving. He is a rescue, and we think he is about 7 years old. From what we know, he is Bull Mastiff and Pit mix. Enzo has brought much light into our lives! He gets along with #LittleLeoHerring and #TinyTessaHerring really well. He is gentle with them and found out pretty quickly that they are sharp if he gets too excited in their faces. 😬 Our Big Boy has learned so much, and even though we dont know much about his life before we got him, he doesnt let that keep him from enjoying running, playing and learning.💜 We are so thankful to have him here, so happy to have another heartbeat added to our symphony. Realtalk Teil 2. . Da der 1. Teil so gut ankam, gibts heute wieder einen kritischeren Beitrag. Ich bin ja mit meinem Hundeaccount schon ein etwas älterer Hase hier auf insta. Den Account habe ich seit fast 3 Jahren. Ich hatte keinerlei Social-Media Erfahrung, da ich weder Facebook noch andere Medien nutzte. Ich hatte aber 8275 Bilder von Finn und wollte nicht, dass sie auf dem Handy „verstauben“. Außerdem fand ich die Idee klasse, dass man sich mit Hundehaltern aus allen möglichen Ecken Deutschlands und dem Ausland austauschen kann. Damals gab es sowas wie Petfluencer nicht wirklich. Es gab keine Kooperationen oder nur äusserst selten. Ich habe den Account also ohne die Absicht gemacht, jemals mehrere tausend Follower zu haben oder irgendwelche Firmen als Partner zu haben. Im Laufe der Zeit änderte sich Instagram, die Bilder wurden besser, die Follower wurden mehr und wir bekamen auch unsere ersten Kooperationen. Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich bin so unfassbar dankbar, dass ich dieses Privileg habe. Das Firmen auf meine Meinung wert legen, meine Fotos mögen und meine ehrliche Art schätzen. Das sie mir Produkte zur Verfügung stellen, die wir testen und nutzen dürfen. ♥️ . Allerdings hat sich manches in eine Richtung entwickelt, die ich etwas fragwürdig finde. Die Hundeaccounts schießen nur so aus dem Boden, man bekommt Anfragen, die regelrecht für eine Erwähnung in der Story betteln oder fordern einen auf, dass man ihnen folgt, weil sie ein Bild geliked haben. 🤷🏼♀️ Andere machen Werbung für 15 versch. Betten oder Leinen Hersteller, bewerben einfach alles und hauen gefühlt jeden Tag einen neuen Code von einem anderen Onlineshop raus. Hauptsache am Umsatz wird man beteiligt 🤷🏼♀️. Andere sponsern ihre Beiträge wie verrückt um mehr Reichweite zu bekommen, andere hauen jede Woche ein Gewinnspiel raus, um irgendwie ihren gewohnten Zuwachs Aufrecht zu erhalten. Ich finde, der Spirit von früher ist schon etwas verloren gegangen. Es hat sich im Laufe der Zeit sehr viel verändert. Ich denke die meisten, die schon so lange dabei sind wie wir, sehen das ähnlich. . Not to mention btw all those little dog hairs that get stuck in every nook and Cranny 👀 dog owners you’ll no exactly what I mean. So There is two different settings which is great, #one for hard flooring, one for carpet/rugs. You can also control the strength of the suction through the press of a button, which allows easy glide on thicker carpets or rugs. It’s Lightweight feel makes it manageable to carry around, also the lift technology is perfect for stairs and hard to reach spots. Overall I am so pleased with the @sharkcleanuk NV702UKT and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a new hoover. Exactly a year ago on this day and this time, I was on my way to the clinic to fetch #DaffydTan who was supposedly to stay in the clinic for drip overnight but I told vet I want him to be home with me, and make daily trips to the clinic instead. But he didnt wait for me 😢💔 I think my baby has a plan for everything himself. Yesterday I asked my friend Letty to make a vase of fresh flowers for him, then while I drove her home she decided to drop by to dabao some (end up not some but a lot) food, and bought 2 chicken wings for me which I didnt ask for. I was too full so I shared one of them with Daffyd. That happened to be the last food he requested to have via the animal communicator a few days before he left for the 🌈. And then last week I was planning to meet two friends, turn out they could only meet today, and it was after the date was set then I realised on his first anniversary, I was going to meet his two friends whom had brought him to picnics and pet cafes several times. Big sister, reporting for duty! We are finally home and our family is complete. Introducing Dixie to her little brother couldn’t have gone better. She is already just as much in love as we are. This was the entire reason I looked at her breed to begin with. Notorious for being the epitome of working dog in the field and family dog at home, our Chessie fits the bill on both fronts! Today is Emily’s birthday. (Adoption Day) Eight years ago today I brought her home and since she was “about 2” we’re calling this her 10th birthday. Didn’t go as planned since we spent most of the day packing in case we have to evacuate due to the really big and getting closer fire, but once we had everything ready she had a small party with all her close squirrel friends.
