In the process of securing the ceremonial entrance of Legislature, we were grabbed, thrown, and young indigenous women had their hair and necks violently pulled by police. We will remain, and stand with our Tyendinaga, Gitxsan, and Secwepemc relatives facing criminalization for peacefully upholding Indigenous law and occupying rail lines crossing their territories.
