Firstly, Id like to thank Wilma for giving me the opportunity to share my image, and Mobile Artistry for giving me the gallery space beside all the other wonderful works. Very much appreciated. I hadnt taken any shots lately, but enjoy editing so much I was searching my archive for inspiration.. this tree pic which I had previously edited to try and make look like something from one of my fav films 300, was singing to me that it needed a kind of midnight look to it.. as much as Im happy with the original edit, into Stackables App it went.. as always when Im editing there is zero method as to how I achieve my vision, its always a one-off edit, and I have no real tech knowledge of what Im doing but seem to usually get there in the end.. It can take a while, but I love the process. Apologies for not being able to explain my process as I truly would not be able to say exactly what layers I used and why I used them. It all just kind of flows until Im satisfied with the results. I checked my saved formula in Stackables, there is 35 layers so maybe best not to list them all. I am however always happy to share my formulas. On this pic I also used Mextures for the first time, but it was minimal just to adjust the colour slightly, which I could have done in Stackables but was just playing with apps. It feels pretty weird to be talking about this album again! There were so many ups and downs- the pain of its subject matter, the joy of the music, the physical obstacles, lost funding, new feelings of major self-empowerment, and then major disappointment.. A week that should have just been fun, the celebration of a self release surrounded by incredible friends and support, was turned on its head when a label I never reached out to stepped in, scooped me up into their hot air balloon, flew me high into the sky and then popped it. All I could say to myself over and over again was….”Why couldn’t they have just left me the fuck alone” I buried it. I buried making music, too. I just kept myself destructively busy trying to pay off debt. When one of my favorite writers Liz Pelly recently was asked to be a curator for a @joyfulnoiserecs vinyl subscription series, a series intended to release overlooked albums for the first time on vinyl without owning any rights to the music, she contacted me to see if we could release The Only Thing. At this point I wasn’t even answering band e-mails. I didn’t want to touch anything record label related with a ten foot pole. I responded but it took me over a month to even fully read the first e-mail. But ultimately I agreed and I am so grateful for what feels more like an award than a release. I’m grateful to see a label trying different models, that really puts artists first and strives to test the limits. I also had to think about this album again, and finally deal with the emotions that it brings up. I hope to make music again soon, I feel it coming. I have 125 copies of this record to sell and all proceeds will go to me and if you order tomorrow on bandcamp Friday, they won’t take a cut. I am also selling wild harvested reishi tinctures in which all proceeds are going to the @theokraproject and @glits_inc (see last post). I’d love if you would buy both my record, and a reishi tincture. לפני כמה שנים נוכחתי שיש לי במגירות הרבה שירי ילדים שהצטברו. היו שם שירים של ע.הלל שהלחנתי להצגה ולא יצאו ושירים של נירה הראל שיועדו לגידי גוב ולא הוקלטו וגם של יונתן גפן ועוד. ֿֿ הצעתי לשלושת הזמרים שעובדים איתי: יעל צבי, יעל נחשון ואיתי פרל להפגש אחת לשבועיים שלושה לעבודה על החומר הזה. וכך במשך כשנה של פגישות התגבשו השירים עד שהיו מוכנים להקלטה. לא רק על חיות אנחנו שרים באלבום הזה, יש שיר על ילד שמחכה ער בלילה להוריו עד שיחזרו ומקנא באחיו הקטן הישן ללא דאגות, יש שיר על ילדה ששרה לאמא שלה שגם היא בעצם מעין ילדה, יש שיר על העננים שבשמיים מעלינו, ויש מחרוזת של שירי ילדים מוכרים: לקחתי כמה וכמה טקסטים של שירים מוכרים כמו יונתן הקטן השפן הקטן ועוגה עוגה והלחנתי אותם מחדש. וגם ישנה מעין אופרטה קטנה המספרת על פנינה חתולת רחוב עליה כתב יונתן גפן. לשמחתי הרבה ארבעת שותפי להרכב הכבש ה-16 : יהודית, גידי, דויד ויונתן עצמו הסכימו ברצון להשתתף בהקלטת השיר, כאילו לא עברו 40 שנה. - @yoni.rechter on Instagram

El 20 de agosto de 2020, se reunió el jurado formado por: Pere Bascones, Presidente de la Asociación de Amigos del Centro de Arte y Naturaleza de Farrera. Gemma Carbó, Directora del Museo de la Vida Rural de LEspluga de Francolí. Roser Sanjuan en representación de Cèlia del Diego, Directora del Centro de Arte La Panera de Lleida. Juan Guardiola, Director del Centro de Arte y Naturaleza de Huesca. Alfredo Puente, curador de la Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia. El jurado estudió y valoró los 62 proyectos presentados a la convocatoria de las Becas Arte y Naturaleza a la Creación 2020, otorgando las dos becas a los siguientes artistas: - Coco Moya (Gijón, 1982), con el proyecto De Geomancia sonora o el paisaje como partitura. - Míriam Isasi (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1981), con el proyecto Estrato Líquido. Estas becas tienen una dotación total de 15.700 €. Ante la situación excepcional de este 2020, debido a la crisis ocasionada por COVID 19, el jurado ha procedido a la selección de dos finalistas, que en el caso de que los dos premiados se vean con impedimento de poder realizar la la beca, ésta se pueda llevar a cabo en el orden descrito a continuación. Duara - Home. Suatu hari di awal bulan Oktober 2019, saya dan @ugaswaz janjian ketemuan makan siang sama senpai @robmr_ dalam rangka menyambut dia baru pulang dari London. Pastinya obrolan berlanjut ngomongin @musikduara. Eh tiba2 si uga ber-ide udaahlah rekam yuk 1 lagu yang cepet, yang gampang aja jadi beberapa hari doang kelar. Robert pun menyauti ehh iya ayok banget. Saya balik tantangin, ok klo gitu rilis tanggal 31 gimana? Gayung tantangan bersambut. Saya lupa, bahwa adik dan senpai saya ini bisa sangat detail oriented (baca: be-em) kalau sudah in the zone. Rekaman pun akhirnya baru dimulai seminggu kemudian karena jadwal masing-masing (uhuk @renitamartadinata uhuk) yang padat. Beruntung sekali ada bala bantuan @desalisme dan @odipurba yang bersedia ditodong mendadak rekaman (di hari yang sama). Sempet deg2an keburu ngga nih, karena alangkah baiknya jika kami yang bukan siapa2 ini dapat mengupload master lagu paling lambat 2 minggu sebelum release date demi kelancaran per-newmusicfriday-an. Sebagai goalkeeper (goal dalam arti gawang dan tujuan) (gileee), cukup bangga dan bahagia lagu ini bisa terilis dan didengarkan oleh khalayak ramai (walaupun akhirnya rilis 1 nov hehe).
