Update. Gisteravond lazen mijn advocaat en ik in het AD dat Vreekamp, de officier van justitie die twee jaar aan mijn zaak gewerkt heeft eraf gehaald is. De afgelopen dagen werd er via een extreemrechtse account het ‘nieuws’ verspreid dat zij partijdig zou zijn omdat ze ooit met @mitch_positivity in het bestuur van een antidiscriminatiebureau zat (het schijnt gangbaar te zijn dat officieren die gespecialiseerd zijn in bepaalde thema’s dit doen). Dit zou het feit dat @akwasion niet vervolgd wordt beïnvloed hebben (al was zij niet degene die de beslissing maakte). Terwijl het een serieus niets met het ander te maken heeft. Dat frame werd door mainstreammedia overgenomen en politiek overgenomen en nu zijn we hier. De officier is dus ook van mijn zaak gehaald, wat al helemaal losstaat van deze gebeurtenissen. Simpelweg omdat we drie zwarte mensen zijn die toevallig allemaal tegen racisme zijn. • Het is allereerst bizar dat ik dit moest vernemen via media en ten tweede dat mijn proces als benadeelde nu onderdeel wordt van een politiek proces.
