I am happy to announce that I have designed the new prize statue for the Hessian Film and Cinema Awards. Frankfurt designer Kai Linke has reinterpreted the Hessen lion for the Hessian Film and Cinema Prize. Hessen is unthinkable without its lion. It has been decorating its coat of arms since the 12th century. The new statue unites a modern interpretation of the heraldic animal with its cubistic design, the creative future and history of Hessen. Good luck for everyone participating.
