GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK✅ . We out here 🤟 in somewhere land Nevada. If you have traveled out west you know what I mean 😆 . We hiked up Wheelers Peak and got to about 12 000 ft before I had to stop. It is the highest I have even been by a couple thousand feet! . About 8.8 miles and 5.5 hours later we finished the trail. But we decided to hangout at the top for about an hour. Team — this hits close to home with me. A1C Elizabeth Jacobson wasn’t just the first Security Forces Airman to die during Operation Iraqi Freedom, she was also the first woman in the Air Force to be killed in that conflict, and she was 21 years old. Liz was a well known and loved member of Team Goodfellow. A photo of her was beautifully framed by my wingman, Chief Thomas Good, and hung proudly in the Command Chief Office in the 17th Training Wing, where it still hangs today. I also framed her photo in my office at the pentagon...as a daily reminder of “why” I serve and to “whom” I serve. La murazione aragonese di Napoli fu iniziata nel giugno 1484, sotto il regno di Ferrante. Essa andava a sostituire lobsoleta cortina angioina, con una struttura più rispondente alle nuove esigenze difensive, derivanti dallintroduzione delle artiglierie. Lo sviluppo della nuova fortificazione, a delimitazione del lato orientale della Capitale, fu di circa due chilometri e comprese venti poderosi torrioni di forma cilindrica scarpati alla base comprese quattro porte. Ciascuna torre era completamente piena, in modo da poter offrire la massima resistenza passiva al tiro delle bombarde dassedio. Le artiglierie difensive erano concentrate esclusivamente sul livello di copertura. La murazione sul lato orientale della città di Napoli assume un preciso riferimento storico urbanistico inquadrabile in una visione ampia ed unitaria di riordino di un tessuto edilizio antichissimo pervenuto agli aragonesi e che peraltro scaturisce anche dalla diretta necessità di includere nel nuovo tracciato l’espansione urbana sviluppatasi oltre le mura medievali. Nel corso del XVI secolo, in epoca vicereale, la murazione sul lato orientale sopravvisse intatta al rinnovamento prodottosi sotto Pedro di Toledo, che portò alla realizzazione di una moderna cinta bastionata a delimitazione della città. Maravillosa Ruta Dominguera. Hoy #10Nov2019 salimos desde Los Próceres más de 40 ciclistas muy entusiasmados por rodar nuestras bicicletas y recorrer no sólo nuestra ciudad sino más allá de ella para disfrutarla. Hoy fuimos a los Altos Mirandinos y la pasamos estupendo. La subida fue por La Mariposa, Cortada del Guayabo, San Diego, San Antonio (Parada en el local de nuestros #BiciPanas de @tribuscafecultural quienes abrieron solo por nosotros). Luego decidimos bajar hasta Los Teques para llegar hasta Caracas por la carretera vieja, hasta Las Adjuntas, para luego cada quien agarrar su camino a casa. Fue una ruta exitosa en todos los aspectos. Estamos muy agradecidos con quienes se sumaron y fueron parte de esta iniciativa de recorrer y de disfrutar nuestra ciudad y más allá de ella. The Oracle at Delphi 🇬🇷. Home to the high priestess (Pythia) of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. The Pythia was established in the 8th century BC at the latest and was consulted until the 4th century AD. During this period the Oracle at Delphi was the most authoritative and prestigious Oracle within the Greeks and was the most powerful woman of the classical world. The Oracle would advise rulers on everything from war to the harvest. When the Pythia was selected she would leave her identity as well as her familial role behind. The temple itself was built in the 4th century BC and was erected on top of two previous temples. Esse ano eu ia correr a maratona de Chicago e seria minha 4a maratona! Estava me preparando para fazer um tempo melhor do que fiz em Berlim, New York e Londres, e bater meu próprio recorde. Na foto, em Londres em 2012 , morta, cansada , emocionada chegando no Palácio de Buckingham já quase andando ... lembra @filhosdovento ? Meu objetivo esse ano era fazer meu melhor tempo ever , mas veio a pandemia e todos os planos mudaram. E como eu consigo conciliar isso com as demandas das kids? A palavra é PLANEJAMENTO. The lovely September weather has facilitated ongoing work in the graveyard. The earth and other grave debris, which had accumulated behind graves located in front of the Wilmount Park wall, has been moved to the off site designated dumping area. Thanks to Alan Wyse and Sons Building Contractors, Cllr Cathal Rasmussen and Cobh Municipal Authority for their support for this aspect of the graveyard project. The first compost area is now in place - behind Calvary on the Ballywilliam wall side of the graveyard. This will be signposted in the near future and we would encourage people, who are clearing plants and flowers from their family graves, to place them in this area. Work on Calvary continues. This has required a lot more work than was originally envisaged as the old paint had to be removed from the entire structure before it could be repainted. However, it is amazing what a lick of white paint will do, as is clear from the photographs. The plinth has also been repainted. Thanks to the Calvary team of Cormac, John and Noreen for their work over the past couple of weeks. Finally, the kerbing near Calvary has also been painted. Thanks to Ben and Kevin for their work on that. The public response to the project has been fantastic and thanks to all for their positive comments. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the fund. The GoFundMe page has now closed, but contributions can still be made in the Credit Union (account number 20113) or through the Parish Office. Nel 1979, due soci sulmonesi (L. Le Donne e L. Mininni) presentarono un nuovo progetto che prevedeva la costruzione del bivacco con una forma geodetica. Nel 1981 iniziarono i lavori per la preparazione di quella che era l’area ove doveva sorgere il nuovo Bivacco. L’assemblaggio della struttura necessitò di ben tre giorni e prevedeva la costruzione di 105 pannelli triangolari, mentre fu durante la stagione estiva che si procedette con le opere di pavimentazione, coibentazione e allestimento tavolacci. Quarta giornata per Esploratori con Gusto per conto di Ente Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga in collaborazione con Viaggiatori nel parco, Roberta Ianni, B&B La bifora e le lune e Natour LOstello per i camminatori. Dopo una piacevole escursione dal borgo di Santo Stefano di Sessanio alla Rocca di Calascio gli esploratori, grandi e piccini, hanno avuto modo di rifocillarsi con un ricco menù a base di prodotti tipici, a chilometro zero e arricchiti da petali ed erbe spontanee, il tutto in un posto veramente veramente speciale: la piana di Lucchiano! Tutti i prodotti, come sempre, sono stati forniti dall’azienda agricola Rosa Ciarrocca e il cibo è stato trasformato dall’azienda agricola Zafferano di Letizia Cucchiella! רבט רואי, מפקדת בביסט (בית הספר לטיסה) מספרת על החוויה של פיקוד על חיילים בקורס-טיס לראשונה. בפעם הראשונה קיבלתי חיילים שכבר היו באמצע השלב המכין. סיימתי קורס מכים וכבר ביום הרביעי בביסט התחלתי חפיפה. הייתי לחוצה, חשבתי אולי עשר פעמים מה אני הולכת להגיד ואני די בטוחה שגם רעד לי הקול. זה אחרת מחיילים שאת מקבלת ביום גיוסם, פה הם מודעים לעובדה שאני חדשה מכל הבחינות. בנוסף התגייסתי בערך חודש לפניהם, כך שהרגשתי נבוכה מאוד. עם הזמן למדתי לשדר בטחון והבנתי את הדינמיקה שיש בין המפקדות בביסט והחיילים של שלב המכין - פחות התעסקות עם דיסטנס כמו שחוויתי בהכשרה שלי, אלא דיבור בגובה העיניים, וזאת גישה שאני מאוד מתחברת אליה - @israeliairforce on Instagram

Uhonorowano pamięć ofiar tego najtragiczniejszego w dziejach ludzkości konfliktu. . Obok prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy w obchodach wzięli udział m.in. marszałkowie Sejmu i Senatu, wicepremier i minister kultury prof. Piotr Gliński oraz wiceminister kultury Jarosław Sellin. .
