My confidence to post things such as this did not grow overnight- this was a process and some days still is. I used to let a person dictate my life and allowed them to tell me that tattoos were ugly and that I was never allowed to get them or how I wasn’t allowed to show skin due to their insecurities which then turned into mine. The ways in which I was manipulated over the span of 5 years was scary and I would never wish that upon my worst enemy. Fast forward to now, I feel confident & sexy in my own skin and can’t wait to fill my body with more tattoos and dress the way I want. I was very fortunate to find a partner who is supportive in every which way and this helps a whole heck of a lot. I share my story a lot in hopes I can touch other women in similar positions, and I thank the women who have come forth and shared their pain and healing with me.
