Fun fact: I tore a hole in my jeans back when i was about 8 years old. My grandma taught me how to hand sew the hole back together. At the age of 17, i took a clothing class where i was taught to sew with machinery, knit, crochet, and more! I did this for 2 years in high school and i never went forward with sewing. - My sister bought me this beautiful Singer 66k as a renovation project. I have got the hand crank working and I am about to replace the belt for the treadle. Do I have to remove the hand crank to use the treadle? Everywhere I have looked the machine is either one or the other and not both.
