Dear David, Man it’s hard to believe it’s been 10yrs already; I’ve had more time with you than I tentatively have left with you, seeing that your 8yrs away from being a “Adult”, and will be trying to move out and away lol with that being said know that I will always be there for you and hope that we can continue on this triumphant path. You’re so many things I could never be as a child and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t respect your growth.. from the day you were born and the 3mnths you had to stay in the PICU, I knew you would be a fighter..to you overcoming the odds when they told us you may never walk, to you becoming a great student and excelling when they told us you may not learn like others, to the 6 surgeries we have had and you have walked out unscathed, to the way you continue to wake up daily with the gratitude and thankfulness for life. I cherish every moment of this life we have together and hope that years down the line when you read this the feeling is still as prevalent as before, know that I work this hard for you and will continue to work even harder; so you can have it much easier than I had once it’s your time to take this over. My father would say to me daily as a kid when we reunited that his goal was for me to solely be better than him, 33yrs in he finally told me I had reached that accomplishment... but today on your 10th Birthday you have already surpassed me in several areas, and i know you will continue to grow better, stronger, smarter.. I pray this world doesn’t corrupt you and keeps your path strait.. you will be special and great once your focus fully locks in, and if you were to steer off path even the slightest just know I will always be there to guide you back with no judgement and unconditional love! I had been thinking of buying a Marimba One for a long time. I have always liked them, and their sound is undoubtedly excellent. A few months ago I decided and ordered a Marimba One Izzy with classic resonators, enhanced keyboard, and wood frames (along with the cases). Luckily my marimba arrived at my house yesterday. The first thing that caught my attention is how perfectly packaged they sent it to me, they did not skimp on anything so that my marimba could reach my house in the best possible way. It also came perfectly stored in the cases, which are comfortable, light, and very easy to handle! The next thing that caught my attention was the ease of ensemble it. Then followed the colors of the resonators, frames, bars…. I honestly think it is the most beautiful marimba I have ever seen!! And to finish, I leave the best, the sound. I was sure it would sound great, but I couldnt have guessed how good. From the first moment, it resonates and fills my room with a warm and pleasant sound.
