⁣🥺TIMIDEZZA E INSTAGRAM STORIES🥺 Ieri, per il compleanno del blog, vi ho parlato di quanto fossi in realtà tremendamente introversa e timida e di come fosse impensabile per me all’inizio parlare di libri in rete. Alcuni di voi mi hanno scritto mostrandomi solidarietà e confessandomi, allo stesso tempo, che non riuscite a mostrarvi nelle stories.⠀ ⠀ I motivi principali sono:⠀ 1- Imbarazzo e ansia da “prestazione” e di questo ne parlerò in un altro post per capire come superarla.⠀ 2- Paura del giudizio altrui. ⠀ E sono emerse in particolare due domande comuni “Cosa può pensare chi guarda i miei video?” “Mi prenderanno in giro i miei amici?”⠀ ⠀ Posto che se i vostri sono VERI AMICI non vi giudicheranno mai, al contrario sosterranno le vostre passioni e vi sproneranno nel raggiungimento dei vostri obiettivi.⠀ Non lo fanno? Bene, non sono vostri Amici. Semplice. ⠀ Chiunque quando si espone su un social (visto che è uno spazio-virtuale pubblico) può essere sottoposto al giudizio altrui.⠀ Chiunque quando cammina per strada (visto che è uno spazio-reale pubblico può essere sottoposto al giudizio altrui (MARONN MA COME SI È VESTITA QUESTA OGGI?)⠀ ⠀ Sono due situazioni paragonabili? Forse si o forse no.⠀ La domanda è: smettereste di uscire di casa per timore di cosa possa pensare la gente di voi? Del vostro modo di porvi e parlare? La risposta sono sicura che sarebbe NO. ⠀ Allora perché non fare lo stesso con i social?⠀ L’unica differenza sta nel “reale” e “virtuale”. Eppure voi nel virtuale, nelle vostre stories, siete sempre le stesse persone che passeggiano in città e vanno a fare la spesa.⠀ ⠀ Credo che la vita sia troppo breve per curarsi del giudizio altrui ed è davvero triste modificare le nostre scelte in funzione delle aspettative di chi ci circonda.⠀ E questo credo valga in generale, non solo per i social. Kennst du dieses fiese Gefühl, dass sich das, was du da gerade machst, einfach nicht richtig anfühlt? Dieses Gefühl versucht ein Ziel eines jeden von uns zu erreichen: Sich so widerspruchslos wie möglich zu verhalten. Inwiefern widerspruchslos?
Wir versuchen immer, unsere Einstellungen mit unserem Verhalten in Einklang zu bringen. Super simples Beispiel: du bist Raucher, weißt um die gesundheitlichen Folgen des Konsums und dir ist deine physische Gesundheit wichtig. Auf die Zigarette zu verzichten, möchtest du aber wiederum auch nicht. Dieses fiese Gefühl ist dann eine kognitive Dissonanz zwischen deiner Haltung und deiner Handlung, die zwickt und sich ätzend anfühlt. Gewissensbisse, sozusagen. Wie versuchen wir, diese Dissonanz zu lösen? Die Lösung lautet entweder Einstellungs- oder Verhaltensänderung. Bei der Einstellungsänderung versuchen wir oft, uns für unser Verhalten zu rechtfertigen. Sowohl vor anderen, als auch vor uns selbst. Und je öfter wir uns rechtfertigen, desto eher glauben wir es selbst. Einfach aus Selbstschutz und irgendwie eher als Verdrängung. Wir suchen nach Argumenten, die unsere ursprüngliche Absicht stützen, oder aber wir vermeiden und ignorieren Informationen, die gegen unsere Absicht sprechen. (In dem Fall wäre es das Rauchen und die entsprechenden Folgen.)
Oder aber wir ändern eben unsere Einstellung authentisch zu einem bestimmten Thema. Je mehr Relevanz das Thema für uns hat und je mehr wir uns damit befassen, desto wahrscheinlich ist es, die eigene Einstellung dazu zu verändern.

”Yrittäjät eivät ehdi lomailla” 🙄 Meinasin tehdä aiheesta meemin ennen meidän omaa lomaa ja naureskella tolle ikivanhalle lausahdukselle, mut kapsahti omaan nilkkaan ja asiakkaiden tilaukset venytti vähän kesäpaussin alkua. Mut ei se mitään 🤚🏼 Oltiin nimittäin varattu 3,5 viikkoa lomaa tähän heinäkuulle ja oon siitä tosi ylpeä. Yritys on ollut pystyssä reilu puoli vuotta ja pystytään olemaan molemmat totaalisella kesälomalla ilman, että on jokin pelko persiissä. On myös hölmöä, että moni kokee omista lomistaan huonoa omatuntoa tai kelaa, että kaikki lomailu pitää jollain kovalla puurtamisella ansaita. Lepo on nimittäin tarpeen tasaisin väliajoin ja mieluiten mahdollisimman usein 💆🏼‍♀️ Ja yrittäjät vois mun puolesta heittää ton ”emme vietä lomia”-lauseen suoraan roskikseen. I will never get tired of summer in LA 🏝😍⠀ ⠀ Лето в Лос-Анджелесе всегда замечательное! Практически каждый день солнышко и тепло, а если вдруг пойдёт дождь, то это тоже в радость, ведь он здесь бывает редко! ⠀ Погода на юге Калифорнии, на мой взгляд, самая благоприятная. Бывают дни когда очень жарко, в основном в июле, но это не длится долго. 💁🏼‍♀️⠀ Днём всегда тепло, а к вечеру становится прохладно и хорошо. Ветер освежает. 💨⠀ Мне очень нравится, что тут не влажно, как например в Таиланде. В Таиланде хорошая погода для отдыха, но мне там тяжело дышать. W ręku trzymam Pieśni Ziemi🌿, wyjątkową książkę Robin Wall Kimmerer, której premiera miała miejsce 12 sierpnia dzięki wydawnictwu @wydawnictwoznakpl. Robin to profesorka botaniki i członkini plemienia Potawatomi, która pokazuje, że nie jest za późno, by naprawić relację z otaczającym nas światem. Łącząc obszerną wiedzę naukową z rdzenną mądrością przodków, przypomina o lekcjach naszego najstarszego nauczyciela – natury. Coś wam to przypomina? Może jakieś wydarzenia tegoroczne, kiedy cały świat stanął, a wielu z Nas zaczęło zastanawiać się nad swoim życiem? Ja też zaczęłam🖤. Ok but real talk for a minute.🤔 Why is it that as a dancers we are constantly encouraged to “diet” or loose weight before a photo shoot, video project, some form of job or a show?! Idk about you guys but as a child, this was the start of my issues with disordered eating. Diet culture in the dance industry makes us believe that in order to be the best dancer we must have the best “dancers bodies”. Growing up before every show (age 15-18) I’d wrap myself in plastic wrap, put on layers of track suits and run on the treadmill at 5am because one time, my dance teacher said something about me having to loose weight before my competition. I was 15 and obsessed with my weight, what I ate and how my body looked. I was so under nourished, I was binging all the time, and just felt so out of control around food. THIS IS YOUR REMINDER...if you are a teacher, educator, leader...remember that your words will forever impact these students. Be MINDFUL of your language around body size, food rules and dieting. Überall in den Medien werden Schönheitsideale gezeigt. Auch ich bin diesen „Idealen“ hinterhergeeifert und war viele Jahre unzufrieden mit mir. Als reifere Frau und Mutter, änderten sich bei mir die Prioritäten. Ich hatte plötzlich meinen Kopf so voll mit Dingen, aber ganz sicher nicht mehr das Bedürfnis irgend einem „Ideal“ hinterherzueifern. Mich selbst bzw. meinen Körper zu lieben, musste auch ich erst lernen. Wobei es am Ende gar nicht schwer war, es gab plötzlich so viel wichtigeres als meine Narben oder mein Doppelkinn. Белая скала. Перегон лошадей 🐴 ⠀ Это то, с чего начался наш Крым. Мы ехали, не останавливаясь на ночлег, чтобы успеть на это действо! И как же мы правильно сделали!👌 ⠀ Это просто потрясающие эмоции!😭❤️ ⠀ Представьте себе: Утренние мягкие солнечные лучи, красивая скала, вокруг которой летают ласточки, воздушнее шары в небе на фоне красивых пейзажей... Ты несёшься на квадроцикле по ухабистой дороге, некоторые участки которой проходят на грани обрыва, а вокруг пасутся породистые ухоженные кони🐎 ⠀ Ты останавливаешься на вершине Белой Скалы и подходишь к самому краю. Ноги трясутся от страха, а сердце замирает от красоты. Твою кожу покрывает множество мурашек... ⠀ Ты стоишь на краю, а ветер растрёпывает твои волосы, обдувая приятной утренней прохладой ⠀ Ты дышишь полной грудью, закрываешь глаза и наслаждаешься этим мгновением🙌 ⠀ На обратном пути ты распутываешь стреноженных лошадей и гонишь их на квадроциклах вниз, прибавляя скорость 💨 ⠀ Рёв мотора, топот копыт, звук колёс, свист загонщиков... Всё это превращается в музыку, которая наполняет тебя невероятной энергией и возбуждением✨ ⠀ Ощущение тотального восторга ⠀ Ох, если бы я ещё знала заранее, что там можно было полетать на воздушных шарах на рассвете... It has taken me a long time to decide whether I should create a post directly discussing the topic of what I have been experiencing over the last half year, but considering today marks exactly 6 months to the day that I have had an altered sense of smell and taste (lack of smell / taste anosmia, progressing into distortions in smell / taste parosmia), I thought today would be the most appropriate! * * I had a very mild case of COVID-19 back in March. I was incredibly lucky, and for me it felt nothing worse than a hangover but from that day, my taste completely disappeared. This continued for a couple of months until about June when I started smelling a weird sweet smell when I was in open air which has since manifested into a huge range of incredibly unpleasant smells and tastes I experience everyday (listed above), some of which leave me feeling nauseous. * * The reason why I now want to discuss this more openly is because of increased awareness around ‘Long COVID’. Thousands of people have been suffering symptoms associated with the virus for more than two weeks including chronic breathing difficulties, persistent coughs, fatigue, muscles aches, brain fog, lack of concentration, depression and of course lack of smell and taste which is what I’ve been experiencing. I count myself incredibly lucky compared to others, some of whom have been left wheel chair bound. I am lucky. I know I am, I’ve come off so incredibly lightly, but it’s not the same for others. And that for me, along with the death rates, is the most horrific thing about COVID. * * However, I can also say with absolute certainty that what I am experiencing now is one of the worst things I have ever experienced in my life. Visiting restaurants and bars is one of my favourite things to do, I’m a massive foodie. Food cheers me up after I’ve had a long and stressful day. I’ve cried because I’ve given my fiancé a hug and couldn’t smell him back. * * Anyway, I’m hoping this didn’t come across as a plea for attention or a pity-post, I just felt like sharing my experiences today. But if you think ‘whatever, if I catch COVID then it’ll be mild and I’ll recover quickly’, then yeah, maybe think again 👍🏻 - @clareydareyy on Instagram

Neulich, da saßen wir in einer Frauenrunde und @amour_natur (werbung, Freundin markiert) Hatte kurz vorher Einen Beitrag zum Thema Vulvashaming geschrieben. Habt ihr davon schon einmal gehört? Ich zuvor nicht! Fakt ist, dass jedes Körperteil individuell ist – auch unsere Vulva! Tatsächlich reicht in jungen Jahren schon ein kurzer Satz, um ein Mädchen zu verunsichern. Darüber spricht nur irgendwie kaum einer. Während Jungs in dem Alter offener mit solchen Themen umgehen, würde ich behaupten, dass Mädchen in der Pubertät sich eher weniger über ihre Intimbereiche unterhalten 😅 Ich finde das ist ein total sensibles Thema, über das auf jeden Fall öfter gesprochen werden sollte. Jedenfalls saßen wir in einer netten Mädelsrunde und es tat irgendwie gut zu hören, dass man als Teenie die selben Gedankengänge hatte 😆 ich meine, woher soll man in der Pubertät eigentlich wissen, was normal ist und was nicht? Tatsächlich haben wir alle festgestellt, dass wir uns damals so sehr durch Kommentare wie „wenn eine Vulva so und so aussieht finde ich das ekelhaft“ verunsichern lassen haben. Abi’20 🌸 Vor einfach 13 Jahren bin ich in die erste Klasse gekommen. Also war ich über mein halbes Leben in der Schule, die Struktur in den Alltag gebracht hat. Auf einmal ist man aber auf sich alleine gestellt, wird voll ins kalte Wasser geschmissen und muss ohne Vorwissen in der großen weiten Welt zurechtkommen. Klingt voll dramatisch irgendwie haha. Nach einer schlaflosen Nacht mit knapp 4 Stunden schlaf geht’s heute zur Kinderferienfreizeit. Mal sehen ob ich halb einschlafe oder durch die aufgeweckten Kids fit bleibe🤓 Habt ihr Tipps für einen guten Schlaf? Bzw wie man gut einschlafen kann? Good morning! Just finished the last chapter of Breaking Dawn on the porch this morning! I have officially finished the Twilight saga! ✨ ⠀ I have to say I’m so impressed with Twilight after finally completing the entire series for the first time. And especially this last edition! What an incredibly diverse story with a beautifully unique collection of characters and a wonderfully realized aesthetic! I especially loved vampire Bella, and how she is finally able to come into her own in this story, so fulfilling! I can already tell I’m heading towards a big post-book-depression after spending the entire summer in this world with these characters. Das unser Leben wellenartig verläuft, hat uns mal wieder die letzte Woche gezeigt. 🌊 Im Moment fühlt sich alles wie ein großer Sturm an, tosend und aufbrausend und jede Welle ist unberechenbar. Doch irgendwie ist diese wilde Zeit auch schön, wir lernen gerade wieder einige neue Grenzen und Seiten an uns kennen und wissen dadurch noch mehr was wir wirklich brauchen. Wir wachsen im Moment mit dieser völlig neuen Situation so sehr, vor allem die Kinder! Es macht uns so viel Freude ihnen dabei zuzusehen, wie sie in kurzer Zeit viele neue Freundschaften schließen und Interesse an den Sprachen zeigen (Englisch & Dänisch). Es gibt aber auch Tage, da gibt es Tränen, weil dann doch alles zu viel ist oder das alte zu Hause vermisst wird. Kein Tag ist hier im Moment gleich und die Emotionen nehmen wir, wie sie kommen und alle dürfen hier ihren Platz finden. Das Leben ist einfach unglaublich spürbar und alles fühlt sich noch wie ein Abenteuer an. Irgendwann darf es aber auch mal wieder ruhiger werden und wenn es mir dann langweilig wird, denke ich einfach an diese Zeit zurück! Monday thoughts - _ This weekend I didn’t do to much “work”. I had a few extra drinks, had lots of good foods, cleaned my apartment, spent time with friends, did some shopping, went with the flow & just chilled. . Wanna hear something funny though? This used to stress me out to the MAX. (& still does sometimes). I mean seriously my old home screen used to have some quote about “hustling” & now it says “be kind” .... big difference right??🤪 . SO here’s my reminder (your reminder, everyone’s reminder) that Monday doesn’t have to go perfectly or be so strict just because you took it easy all weekend. I think we get into this habit of Monday having to be a fresh slate that we sometimes kick ourselves if everything doesn’t go as planned or we’re not as productive as we intended to be. . let’s stop being so dang hard on ourselves ... let’s not forget that life is a little weird right now & we’re in a pandemic... & we can definitely give ourselves a little grace :) _ ps ~ a tangible thing you can do to help with this struggle - I like to make a list each night with what I *want* to get done the following day. Tolv veckors sommarlov går mot sitt slut och jag är lika utvilad som utmattad 😅 det är sannerligen både en fantastisk gåva och utmaning att få spendera såhär mycket tid med sina barn. Vi kommer ha en förstaklassare i familjen, flera nya aktiviteter och jag - jag ska börja plugga. Ni är många som gissat till vad. Allt från kurator, läkare och florist till PT, inredare och lärare. 💋Jetzt hab ich euch das ganze Wochenende mit meinem neuen Lippenstift genervt, das ihr mir so viele liebe Nachrichten geschrieben habt und natürlich auch wissen wolltet welche Nummer,die versteckt sich im letzten Bild. Normal trage ich nie Lippenstift und ihr kennt euch sicher noch besser aus als ich aber meine Braut am Wochenende hat mich inspiriert und ich dachte „Ausprobieren“. Често признаюсь, я даже не ожидала, что столько моих подписчиков заметят мое отсутствие, и более того, напишут, что скучают по моим арт-эфирам и ждут с нетерпением моего возвращения 😊 ⠀ Спасибо всем, кто поинтересовался, все ли у меня в порядке ❤️ Настало время вернуться и рассказать, почему меня не было так долго в Инстаграм. ⠀ Начну с того, что изначально я решила взять паузу. В какой-то момент я поняла, что моих ресурсов больше не хватало для того, чтобы создавать полезный и интересный контент, вести экскурсии в клубе, готовить лекции, успевать готовиться к экзаменам и параллельно обучаться на других курсах. Я решила дать приоритет себе и своему обучению, чтобы пополниться ресурсами и с новыми силами вернуться к вам. Я не знала, сколько времени мне понадобится для этого и не давала себе четких дедлайнов. Но внезапно в моей жизни произошло событие, которое сильно потрясло мою семью: трагическая гибель близкого друга семьи, молодого мужчины, любящего мужа, отца двух замечательных деток и близкого друга моего супруга. Это был как гром среди ясного неба. Его звали Мануэле и наши семьи проводили много времени вместе. Иногда он заходил в мой арт-эфир в Инстаграм и я как-то спросила у него: - “Ману, почему ты слушаешь эфир, ты ведь ничего не понимаешь по-русски?”- А он мне отвечал- “ А мне приходит оповещение на телефон, что ты в эфире, вот я и захожу”😊 ⠀ Это был отзывчивый и радостный человек, типичный итальянец «душа компании». В день похорон собралось столько много людей, что все не поместились в церкви и часть стояла на улице. ⠀ Прошло уже две недели с момента трагедии и за это время мы переживаем разные чувства от шока, отрицания потери, до грусти и тоски. Pendant mes études je prenais de façon automatique des somnifères. Maintenant jessaye de trouver des solutions plus naturelles : tapis dacupuncture, ASMR, huiles essentielles et dernièrement : le Morphée ! . Il sagit dun boîtier avec des enregistrements audio (210 pour être exacte) sur différents thèmes qui favorisent lendormissement. I’ve been filled with fire from the moment I was born. just filled —with so much passion. so much intensity. so much heat. i am a sagittarius sun, moon & have 5 planets in sag. HELLO FIRE. my mom says I would run through the yard screaming of pure joy. I would rally the neighborhood kids to plan secret missions. I was constantly leading my siblings, friends, classmates to “break the rules” because let’s ROLL! let’s LIVE! fck this juice box lets find SODA! this fire burned bright for awhile, until of course — it was time to fit in with society. I don’t know what age I was when I was first told my fire was wrong. because that first time, well it doesn’t really matter. what mattered was the years that followed. middle school. high school. college. i was told again and again that i was too much. that fire in me, it was too strong. too hot. too intimidating. too loud. too eccentric. the fire that fueled my passion to live soon began to fuel my hate. I let the world convince me that my fire was a bad thing — & I was left feeling like a bad person. so, I was. I began to hate not only myself but what felt like everything & everyone. I judged. I stole. talked back. got arrested. I was the girl mother’s didn’t want their daughters to hangout with. I was trouble. but wanna know what sucked the most? alllll that time, all I needed was for someone to remind me that my fire could be used for good. that my fire is also a light. that my passion can inspire others & my intensity can take me anywhere I want to go. it would have been nice to have someone do that for me, but let me tell you whats better — knowing I did it for myself. I did the work. I dragged my ass to therapy. I journaled until my hand hurt. I meditated even when I wanted to give up. I reflected. When thinking about the jungle what comes to my mind is the huge problem we have with humans burning or cutting down trees for various reasons, but a big one is to plant and produce palm oil. Palm oil is responsible for about 8% of the worlds deforestation between 1990 and 2008. Up to 300 football fields of forest are cleared every HOUR to make room for palm plantations. This leaves thousands of animals without home, or dying burnt or starved. In the past 10 years, the orangutan population has decreased by 50% as the result of this. All because of human greediness. Im not trying to bring anyone down, but, please check it out. So many products have palm oil, the majority of the products, including soap!.. Why? Its a low-cost resource and incredibly efficient and versatile. So, very cheap. In a world with such huge demand, palm oil dominates the market. But, palm oil is not healthy, not only for the reasons mentioned above but also because is high on saturated fats, which can be harmful to cardiovascular health. So what can you do?Reduce the demand..I personally avoid products with palm oil, even if that meant stop eating delicious #Nutella. Countdown - 6.... 🌞 Gestern hatte ich ein echt interessantes Gespräch mit einem Freund, der zwar nicht wie ich in die Natur auswandern, aber auch gerne seine Wohnung wechseln möchte! In celebration of second hand September I wanted to share some of my fab small businesses that sell some gorgeous second hand bits and pieces. I find most of my treasures second hand and love supporting smaller buisnesses. Also that way the pieces are more unique and supporting sustainable industry is so important. All these mass produced cheap fabrics you see in shops saddens me. I am sure we could dress the world a million times over with vintage and second hand fashions. What’s your favourite second hand sellers? This swimsuit is an original 1980s St Michael swimsuit from @retold_vintage it has a gorgeous low back and is made from beautiful comfy fabric. I also wear this out as a top with Culottes or simply on the beach as a swimsuit. L’altro giorno ho fatto una riflessione, oppure ho avuto una rivelazione - non so. È una cosa che ha a che vedere col mio colore di capelli naturale, e che va di pari passo con il mio graduale disinteresse per lo shopping. La cosa che ho realizzato è questa: un tempo compravo vestiti e scarpe per acquistare una parte di me che temevo di non avere, nel dubbio che chi fossi davvero avrebbe potuto non piacere. Con qualche decina di euro compravo lati di me che non mi appartenevano, o l’illusione di essere diversa. Compravo coraggio o fascino, sfrontatezza o determinazione. Avevo davvero, a volte, la certezza che quel vestito o quei tacchi, quell’intimo o quegli stivali, avrebbero sviluppato e portato alla luce una parte di me. Sono stata bionda per 21 anni. Sono tanti, eh. Forse all’inizio pensavo che il mondo avesse più voglia di una Chiara bionda, ma la verità è che col tempo mi ero innamorata di quel colore e non riuscivo ad immaginare di tornare castana. Che succede, ora che non compro quasi più abiti e sto tornando di un colore meno appariscente e più mio? Che mi sono resa conto di non dover dimostrare più niente a nessuno. Che mi basto per quello che sono. Che so chi sono senza bisogno di comprare parti di me in un negozio. Che amo ancora i vestiti, ma per una ragione diversa che ha solo a che vedere col piacere e con l’espressione e non con la ricerca dell’identità. Che amo i capelli biondi e magari un giorno ci torneró pure, ma non perché se vado col mio colore naturale sono meno “me” per come ho imparato a vedermi con gli occhi degli altri. I didn’t have a business background. And I was embarrassed to tell people that I was even blogging altogether. But here we are... If you’re new to following me, hello I’m Jenna! I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Here are some things you might not know about me and some things to expect from me. ————————————————————— Some business things... I respond to every DM unless you’re creepy, say something inappropriate, or say something that insults me. I will never be “too cool” to not respond. I love chatting with you all! I run my blog and Instagram as my business, but I actually have a degree in psychology and work part time in the health field. I launched my blog when I was unemployed and with only a few hundred dollars in my bank account. Scary times! I come out with a new blog post every Monday! So if you’re looking for fresh content, that’s when it will be posted. I am launching a food tour led by yours truly starting October 3rd! I’m looking forward to meeting you all in person! My last job before I started blogging was serving. I served and worked in the restaurant industry for many years! ————————————————————— Some personal things... I used to hate being alone but now I love cocooning myself in my apartment and being by myself. I love laying in bed. Even if I have half an hour in between meetings I’ll lay in bed if I have the chance. Now you know lol. I don’t particularly enjoy hugging. Unless you’re somebody really close to me I silently panic when somebody tries to hug me. I get up every day at 6:30am (sometimes earlier) even though I am the farthest thing from a morning person. I’ve never had a pet. I love animals and always post about my friends pets but I’ve never actually owned my own. One day... I don’t wear make up (unless it’s a special occasion or a shoot). How I gave myself PERMISSION to come first.... To change our mindset, our habits and how we show up daily; we get to prioritize working on OURSELVES. I wanna connect with you guys and open this conversation about all of our journeys of personal development 🧘‍♀️ I’ll admit, this was not ❌something I used to do! Heck, I didn’t really know what “personal development” even was!!! But it’s true, we are #1 in our own lives, we simply can’t pour into others without getting our own head screwed-on right! So I gave myself PERMISSION TO COME FIRST! 😌 Here’s what I applied, and here’s the outcome ⬇️ I start every day with gratitude and 30 minutes ⏰ of personal development with Jim Rohn (if you haven’t looked him up yet, you seriously don’t know what you’re missing) It sets the tone of my day and allows me to be PRO-ACTIVE instead of RE-ACTIVE, you feel me?? OUTCOME A This changes my daily mood, this gave me peace and clarity on what’s possible! So I stopped the negative self-talk, and decided to grow into the BEST version of myself. OUTCOME B I managed to get rid of the icky feeling I felt every time someone gave me praise. I want to be a giver of praise, so why not start by setting a good example as a RECEIVER?! 🤪 OUTCOME C I swallowed the urge to say “no, it was nothing really...” or “nah, it wasn’t good enough, I’ll do better next time...” that feeling of robbing myself of joy, of reminding myself for whatever reason that I wasn’t good enough! When are we ever gonna be “good enough”⁉️ ENJOY THE GODDAMN PROCESS, MEGHAN! 😆 Personal development has been key to my health, my happiness, my leadership, my relationships..... it’s NEVER too late to start changing your mindset, and changing your life! For my guys/gals already in the swing of things, I’d love to know 😍 what is your routine? - where do you sit? - what scents are around you? - what music, book, or podcast is filling your ears and your mind?
