ফাঁকা ঘর আজ জানেও কেমন সকালে উঠে একটা আজব নিস্তব্ধ চারদিকে ঘোরে। বাসন এর আওয়াজ নেই রান্নাঘরে, গোপালকে উঠানোর জন্য ঘন্টি বাজে না, আরো উঠে দেখি দরজা জানালা গুলো সব এখনো খোলা হয়নি। হঠাৎ একটা রিয়েলাইজেশন, ও আজ থেকে তো ফাঁকা ঘর। রান্নাঘরে সকালে চা বানাতে বানাতে সাতটি মাস 5 মিনিটে ফ্ল্যাশব্যাকে এসে গেল। জীবনে এ ফ্ল্যাশব্যাক গুলো অনেক সময় তোমাকে ভেতর থেকে একটু নাড়িয়ে যায়। । পরশু অবধি জমজমাট ছিল ঘরে, না কাল এয়ারপোর্ট ছাড়াও অবধি ও ছিল, ব্যানার সকাল থেকে গুড মর্নিং মেসেজ পাঠানো শুরু হয়ে গেল। 1400 কিলোমিটার ডিসটেন্স আবার হয়ে গেল। লড়াই ঝগড়া, কথা কাটাকাটি, হাসি ঠাট্টা, রান্না, সাজুগুজু, আরো অনেক এদিক-ওদিক এর মধ্যে থেকে সাত মাস কি করে কেটে গেল ঠিক বোঝা গেল না। কিন্তু আজ সকালে ফাঁকা ঘর টা দেখে বুকটা একটু চমকে উঠলো। এক মাস পর দেখা কিন্তু তাও। আর এই একটাই লোক যার কাছে আমি প্রাণখুলে মান অভিমান আর ঝগড়া করতে পারো। ওহে লইট্যা মাছ চা খাওয়া হলো না। সেটা ডিউ রইল। আর এক মাস পর দুই মাস আবার দেখা দুজনের সাথে।।😘. . . . 📸@krishuu_ #mother #love #mom #mothersday #family #momlife #happy #life #daughter #instagood #mum #beautiful #mommy #instagram #children #parenting #photography #photooftheday #like #saree #red #home #homedecor #white #durgapuja #homemade #bong #bonding #whitetail #redhead - @aaa.blah__nari on Instagram

#7 BTS #VijyantatKargil Apologies for the delay in the series but was so caught up that just couldn’t put it together sooner. My next stop was Chandigarh, where I had to meet Robin’s other cousin Tonny and his beloved Geeta bua. From the time I sent her a msg about wanting to meet till the time I was sitting across from them both at a cute little cafe in Chandigarh, Tonny had been nothing but very sweet and forthcoming. She was also, to my delight really well prepared as she had not only carried some really nice letters and pictures with her, she had also written down everything that she could remember. Can’t thank her enough for it. As we dived into conversation and stories of her days and time spent with Robin, one could see and appreciate a genuine affection and eagerness in her for her little brother Robin. I will perhaps, never forget the look on her face while she was talking about Robin. A constant smile and fondness written LARGE on it. Even Geeta bua had some funny anecdotes that she remembered clearly, some of which she would narrate shyly with “please don’t include this” :) It was a rather well spent evening for me. Tonny would go on to keep in touch, enquiring about the progress and so curious about the process of writing of the book. I was also supposed to meet one of Robin’s pals from academy on the same trip but unfortunately his leave got cancelled last minute and I couldn’t. Nevertheless, the journey was completely worth it. The trip also gave me a chance to meet my beautiful friend @namratatoor and (now that I had extra days in hand) @urvashinxed and their amazing boys Kabir and Pistaul(not his real name obviously). While Nam and her mother graciously hosted me in Chandigarh while I stayed with them, the ever smiling Urvashi agreeed to travel with me to Bathinda where I had more friends to meet. July 14th, 2007 - the day I saw her for the first time, I knew with absolutely clarity that there was something special about this girl.
