Its about 21:35pm and im running super late for work, so i take the backroads as there a bit quicker. While travelling along the winding roads, out of the corner of my eye I spot this scene. I slow the car down to a crawl but i dont stop. I think to myself, if i keep going i could make it on time. But if i stop and make the effort who knows what i could capture? As you can see I stopped and took the shot and im glad i did as its one of my favourites. Ive had many instances like this where a moment has presented itself to me and ive not stopped or not made the extra effort to capture it. Theres always been some excuse. Lightpainting using a 2 Million Candle power Spotlight (NOTE: today I use an RL-85 a Five Million Candle power Spotlight by: Larson Electronics) HOW THIS IMAGE WAS MADE: My wife Susan and I were visiting our friends Larry and Janice in Chester, Montana a while back. Janice wanted to learn how to Lightpaint, so we all jumped into Larry’s truck and drove to this old farm structure that Janice recommended...a perfect subject. With sunset fast approaching we parked and gathered our gear. LIGHTPAINTING LESSON for JANICE: First: Survey the subject and surrounding ground for gopher holes and barbwire...just don’t want to get tangled while walking around in the dark while you’re Lightpainting. Second: While you’re walking around make a few pictures with the fading ambient light just to get your image composed in your mind. Third: Set-up your Tripod...compose your scene...and AUTO FOCUS on your subject (I use a single center AF point). NOTE: If it’s too dark to Focus, just shine the LIGHT from your Spotlight directly on the subject and Auto Focus and disengaged the AF so as not to activate while Lightpainting. Fourth: Determine your MANUAL Exposure: ISO1000, 20 seconds at f11. With the sun already below the northern Montana horizon I set my Shutter at 20 seconds...my Aperture at f11 and using LIVE view I scrolled through ISO range starting with 500-on-up of which ISO1000 displayed a GOLD horizon and Blue-Purple sky with stars. Fifth: With a SILHOUETTE TEST SHOT complete, and Composition and Exposure determined. I set my camera Self-Timer to 20 seconds...Pressed the Shutter button and walked Off-Camera to the right until I was almost PROFILE to the subject. Sixth: LIGHTPAINTING ...I held a 20% Grid over the spotlight to narrow the spread of light...“CLICK”...the shutter opened and I “flickered” the WARM LIGHT for 3-4 seconds on the leaning structure...then knelt down and “flickered/skimmed” Lightpainting across the grass for 13 seconds and 2 seconds on the harvesting machine. Postupně sem budu přidávat fotky z dovolené na jižní Moravě. V tomto termínu jsme měli jet na Madeiru🏝, ale letos nám nebylo přáno. Původně jsem myslel, že sem budu fotky přidávat nějak chronologicky🕐, ale bude mi chvíli trvat než je zpracuji⏳, takže dávám fotku na kterou jsem se vrhnul jako na první. A tou je jedna z fotek Šardických biopásů, protože jedním z mých cílů bylo podívat se na nějaké to #fotomisto odkud by se daly dělat pěkné fotky #moravsketoskansko #moraviantuscany. Bohužel konec června není dobré období na focení, takže výsledek je jaký je, ale snad se Vám bude líbit😉. A pro mě to byla další výzva, poprat se s tím zeleným peklem co nás v létě obklopuje😀. Popisek už mi přijde docela dost dlouhý, takže uvidíme jestli měl @radekmasak pravdu🤔, když říkal, že IG algoritmus upřednostňuje příspěvky s dlouhým popiskem a hodně smajlík😉😉😉. A mixed bag in the New Forest yesterday with conditions not quite as good as forecast, but nonetheless still a few pockets of mist here and there. Canola Fields of the Palouse. I was only in the Palouse WA area for one night and, due to car troubles, I didnt have time to scout. I went up the the Iconic Steptoe Butte but high winds made things a bit difficult...After battling camera shake and reviewing a few frames, I noticed a few patches of bright yellow canola fields far in the distance that looked like they would line up with the Milky Way + some car trail lights that showed the road leading right through em :). Этот промежуток времени называется — временем экспозиции, регулируемым путем изменения скорости затвора – то есть параметра выдержки при настройке фотоаппарата. ⠀ 📸 В фотоаппарате обозначается следующем образом, 1/4 последняя цифра означает время в течении которого поступает свет на изображение. Одна четвертая секунды (1/4), одна секунда обозначается (1), а одна восьмитысячная (1/8000), чем больше значение, тем меньше времени на изображение попадает свет. ⠀ ❗При съемки без штатива не рекомендуется делать выдержку короче чем 1/60, так как можно получить эффект шевеленки (смазанной, не четкой фотографии). При съемке с рук необходимую выдержку, при которой не будет смаза, можно расчитать как 1/х, где х - фокусное расстояние вашего объектива. ⠀ 🔸Если вы снимаете детей или в движении (динамики), а может у вас съемка с животными. 💜 September is Craniosynostosis Awareness Month! Join us in turning social media purple! 💜 . Huey was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis shortly after birth & when he was a few days shy of 6 months old, he underwent a nearly 8-hour-long surgery called Cranial Vault Reconstruction at @mottchildren to help reshape his skull & give his brain room to grow. You can learn more about his cranio journey by visiting my Cranio highlight 💜 . Craniosynostosis occurs when the sutures that connect the bony plates in an infant’s skull close prematurely, resulting in problems with normal brain & skull growth. Surgery is the main treatment in effort to make sure a child’s brain has enough room to grow & to prevent a buildup of pressure on the brain. As surgery typically occurs early in the first year (~6 months of age on average), early diagnosis is critical. However, many medical professionals know very little - to nothing at all - about craniosynostosis which can lead to a misdiagnosis/no diagnosis at all until a child begins to suffer from serious, sometimes irreversible health consequences, that were often preventable. . One of my favorite places in Switzerland, which I have visited a few times. This unique area with the soft, rolling hills on which a linden tree stands is of national importance.
